All good things sooner or later must come to an end – ACT IN_OUT project wraps up after two years of intense work. 22 concerts, 6 artistic residencies and 2 original spectacles created as a result of international cooperation – ACT IN_OUT participants went above and beyond to tie artistic scenes in Poland, Norway and Iceland with long-lasting threads.

ACT IN_OUT project could not be brought to life without Fabryka Sztuki support of Fundusze norweskie i EOG, Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego and City of Łódź.

Organization of so many events was possible thanks to ACT IN_OUT partners: Teatr CHOREA, Carte Blanche (NO), Visjoner Teater and Sláturhúsið Menningarmiðstöð.

And ACT IN_OUT just wouldn't be ACT IN_OUT without all artists who shaped the initiative – good luck in all your future endeavours and – hopefully – see you very, very soon!

Residency is a special event in the life of an artist – it means being thrown in a completely different place, often in a completely different culture and navigating your way around it to create something new.

Something that belongs not only to the artist but to the place itself.

These creations and circumstances of their birth are the essence of “The Silence of the Machines. Harmony and noise” catalogue that highlights the work of not only our residents but also art institutions that made their journey possible - Fabryka Sztuki and Sláturhúsið Menningarmiðstöð.

Archive collecting stories of all our artistic residents - "The silence of the machines. Harmony and noise" had its premiere during today's press conference. It's catalogue full of photos, songs and artists' own recollections of creative time spent in Łódź and Egilsstaðir.

Last Saturday in Kulturkirnen Jakob was musical, joyful and magical – all due to another “Livet. Suite for Earth” performance!
After premiere in Łódź and recording sessions in the studio, Visjoner Teater and Teatr CHOREA met for another performance of “Livet. Suite for Earth” – this time in Oslo!
