So captivated by these portraits of our bride, Laura, set against the nostalgic backdrop of Windy Willows—her now husband’s family home in Maine. This century-old gem provided the perfect setting for Laura’s bridal portraits, beautifully captured by .

Drawing inspiration from the bucolic farm setting and the natural palette of Maine in late summer, it was a joy to design L&P’s dinner and dancing tent in hues of soft lavender and pale french green. ’s whimsical floral and landscaping elements captured the essence of the season sourcing local plants, foraging branches and embracing dahlias, and unique hydrangea varietals. The painterly menus by were a delicate finishing touch. Between the refreshing chill in the air and the gorgeous golden light that glowed throughout cocktail hour, everyone enjoyed that special something that only Maine seems to offer.

Laura & Peter’s weekend began with a welcome party at Windy Willows, the groom’s home. Laura wore a custom red-and-white gingham short set by Patricia Voto of . “I had the most fun with my welcome-party look, playing into the kitschiness of the party and the preppiness that I love to lean into when I’m in Maine,” says Laura. “We were inspired by the retro silhouettes of the 1950s and Grace Kelly.” She accessorized her look with pearl earrings (a gift from her mother) as well as x sunglasses.
The local bar and lobster pound, The Nor’Easter Pound & Market, made lobster rolls that Laura and Peter laid out on gingham linens while string lights and lanterns hung overhead. Just outside the party was Peter’s uncle’s 1957 Ford Fairlane Sunliner, which provided for a scenic photo-op. After toasts and many glasses of rosé, the couple served Whoopie pies and Blueberry cobbler— “more Maine delicacies!” says Laura.

This time last year we were out west producing the inaugural OV.Summit with the ever inspiring of Optum Ventures. Another peek at one of our favorite events of the week, this intimate candlelit wine tunnel dinner where guests enjoyed a table of classic plaid layered with rust suede, bone napkin rings, snake plates and seasonal flora.

’s magical Maple Lane stirred up a case of love at first site for M&A. It was only natural to choose this spot as the backdrop for their vows. A little rain would not stand in the way of their love-filled ceremony!

Setting the table with , and was beyond fun! Sharing a true love for beautiful patterns and all things tabletop … it was very special to layer the table with Aerin’s personal collection - both new and old. Petite silver and raffia vessels full of dainty summer floral fluttered down the table, and we used her perfectly-scaled Milla hurricanes for candlelight! The bohemian blue linen really defined the room and added levity to such an elegant setting.

Madeline’s love of interiors carried through to her wedding, and she inspired us to create a tented dinner party that executed tailored elegance with just the right touch of upstate charm. For this, we turned to summer neutrals, whitewashed and cane dinner chairs, tonal floral plates, especially delicate white and green seasonal flowers, and suspended scalloped rattan lighting over the long ticking stripe tables. The tent looked refreshingly beautiful in the daylight but took on a warm candlelit glow as the evening carried on!
