Behind the scenes of Ellie’s beautiful custom gown featured on The dress was a strapless gown with a sculpted bodice that flowed from a column skirt into a bubble hem, paired with a sheer veil with floral appliqués.
“There’s always that one muse who lives in your head when you’re designing-for me, this gown was always Ellie,” designer Mia tells . “I wanted this gown to reflect her balance of strength and softness-the structure to honour her athleticism, and romantic details to celebrate her femininity.”

Inspired by the ocean's quiet creatures and the intimacy of light passing through fabric.
The garments are imagined as soft, glowing exoskeletons. Textures reference coral patterns and shell ridges, while lightness becomes structural: pleats hold shape without weight, drapes move like water.
