Happy that my fall-planted dahlias are beginning to bloom! It is difficult to source tubers for dahlias at the time when we need to plant them here in Zone 9b, and I’ve been experimenting with a number of different techniques. So pleased that at least one of my methods seems to be working!

‘hot’ tip wait til your plants thaw or at least til the temps are above 32 to touch or fuss with them, the water inside the leaves and stems will be frozen, causing any contact with them to cause damage to the cell walls
