A little note about all these crazy "products" you may be seeing the past day: Yes, they are real - we haven't been hacked. When we first started Strange Highways Grub, our long-term plan was (and still is) to have a cool hippie type compound with food, a groovy gift shop, far out live music and more. That goal is a long way off, but we're still aiming for it. That being said, we've started to stock up our online merch shop (aka The Junk Shop) with goodies - think Stuckey's or Cracker Barrell - touristy Texas stuff, holiday and SHG branded items.

Our website is connected to Facebook. So... when a new item is added or edited, it shows up as "they added a new item." Sorry if it's clogging up your timeline. Those posts will slow down over the weekend and should only start showing up when we actually add new items. Just wanted to let you all know what was up. Oh, and if you want to take a peek at the shop, the link is below. Still a lot to add and build up, but it's live and open. BTW - If you have shopped at the food truck with us in the past and have your Roadie Card handy, there's a discount code on it that works in the online shop :)

Hey, we had a very special visitor today! Miss Daisy came out to say hi. We met her when she was adopted several weeks ago at the Home Zone Furniture Hudson Oaks / Weatherford Parker Co. Animal Shelter pet adoption event we were working. She seems to be loving her new home. Stuff like this is why we always enjoy working adoption events. We'll see you at the next one on October 22nd at Roger Williams Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram/Fiat with iRescue . Happy Tuesday!

Those of you who know, already know. But... for those who don't... we aren't a taco truck. We aren't a BBQ wagon. But, if you want tacos or BBQ at your event, we can sure as Hell do it (and most any other theme). We are always glad to work out an event menu that works for you. October is fully booked, but we have a few Saturdays open in November and December. Drop us a line!

Good morning, Grubheads. Well, looks like the weather man was right this time! At the moment, we've got some good rain moving in. Watching the radar and doing our own redneck weatherin', we're guessing this is going to last until the time we would normally open for breakfast. That being said, we are going to go ahead and delay opening until lunch today. We get started around 3am and know most won't see this post since it's so early.... so... we will re-post another reminder around 6am with an updated eta. Sorry for any inconvenience to our City of Millsap / The Heart of Millsap friends. We are ok with working in the rain. Unfortunately, our generator is not. So, have to delay opening today. Thanks for understanding - we'll see you at lunch!
