People are asking about custom sets and colors - When I can get them, custom sets sell for $88 or $98 depending on difficulty of the build.

Before these knives had even come out, several magicians complained of problems with the effect - without either having seen, much less used, the props.

1. They are not the right shape for the move.
Un, no. The shape is idea; they turn easily.
2. The logo disappears, then reappears.
Yes it does. Magic.
3. You maybe can kinda sorta see the 'other color' on the flip side.
Nope. the display mode is often at the base of the fingers (roughly finger palm) and the view is from the top. Hidden.

Why these knives? Why now?

Two reasons, really.
I love the color changing knives - As a pro it hits all the marks for me.
- Quick & visual
- Clear effect
- A known, regular object
- Can be a short routine or long
- Adaptable for many audiences (Kids, ESL, casual, message, entalism, etc.)
- Small enough to carry in my jeans watch pocket.

And the other reason.
I really didn't like the knives currently available.
There are two sorts --
One is a stag handled knife which your farmer grandfather used to carry, very roughly a buck knife. Which did not fit my character or my pocket very well.
Two is a mishmash of something that is vaguely knife like crossed with disco sparkle nightmare. Which, besides looking like nothing real, were expensive AND took up valuable pocket space.

That's why I went with Swiss Army knives as the base of the kind I sell.
