This year my partner and I hosted Christmas dinner, in our first home! It was our first time cooking a full turkey meal… and we slayed it (if I do say so myself)!

Looking forward to more holidays here and more tablescapes (arguably my favourite part of hosting).

We’re long overdue for sharing… this branding and website build blessed me with such a beautiful friendship, with truly one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met.

To this day, April and I try to get together every month or so to reconnect and catch up. There is no one else with such bright and positive energy as April. ☀️

When creating her branding, I wanted to ensure the many layers of her personality was captured. We opted to pull inspiration from nature, while highlighting April’s individuality and femininity!

We landed on a soft purple palette, with touches of natural pink tones. We felt this was the perfect representation of female energy, nature and professionalism!

April offers an array of services but is best known for astrology readings! Her deep knowledge and many life experiences make for such a detailed and unique experience! 🤩

Never met a sunset I didn’t love 😍🌅

Golden hour photos are arguably my favourite part of any wedding and event! It’s such a beautiful moment to sneak away as a couple, snap some pics and enjoy a moment alone before joining the party!

When planning your timeline - you have to consider an array of moments! Golden hour photos require a careful plan between your wedding planner, photographer and likely your caterer!

The first step is to check when the sun will be setting on your special day! The earlier in the year, the later the sunset - meaning of course the later in the year, the earlier the sunset! ☀️🕶️

Once you know what time frame you’re working with, you then need to see where that falls into your day - will it be during dinner? After or in between speeches? Sometime during the dance floor opening?

Once you determine what the sunset aligns with on the large plan of the day, it’s time to tweak the plan to coordinate all the things!

The most important part however, is trusting your planner, photographer and vendor team to be flexible and act accordingly on the day! The sun waits for no one and things happen - so don’t panic if there are small changes made on the fly!

Was that two and half, successful years ago for Miss Fio? …yeah it sure was! 🥹

With a personality like hers and a brand so sweet, it’s better late than never to share the magic!

This branding speaks to the feminine touch, authentic beauty and true love Fiorella has for each person lucky enough to walk through her door! 💜

We opted for a natural colour palette with neutral tones, and pastel pops of pink and purple to complement Fiorella’s feminine essence and calm vibes.

You’ll see in all the imagery captured by .photo that you literally feel like you’re walking into a daydream, and will absolutely leave feeling like you’re on cloud nine! ☁️

🪩 Unfazed Floral ~ Flowers for the Fearless 🪩

This branding marked the start of one of my most cherished friendships and business relationships.

When I first launched Always Golden, I ran a contest to give away a full branding package, along with other branding related gifts - Trish was the winner of that contest! 🤩

Fun side bar: this was actually the first design I showed Trish - after several other options and revisions, we came right back to this design! Sometimes some thing’s are right from the start!

Just like her branding, Trish and Unfazed represent authenticity, playfulness, being bold and being unapologetic! ♥️🪩

She’s a disco, flower wizard! She’s fun and colourful! She is luxury and fearlessness! She remains unfazed!
