Cheers to a new year! ✨

I was going to start with a whole note about taking so long to post in the new year - but I’ve decided to allow myself more grace with chasing the ig grind lol

So instead, I’ll say hi to everyone who’s reading this! Whether we’re booked for this year or not - I’m super stoked to have you here and always appreciate the support!

I hope everyone is loving 2025 so far! I personally cannot wait for this year full of cool projects and beautiful weddings!! I know it’s going to be an awesome season.

The most beautiful season for a tablescape ❄️🥂

This year my partner and I hosted Christmas dinner, in our first home! It was our first time cooking a full turkey meal… and we slayed it (if I do say so myself)!

We’re long overdue for sharing… this branding and website build blessed me with such a beautiful friendship, with truly one of the kindest humans I’ve ever met.

To this day, April and I try to get together every month or so to reconnect and catch up. There is no one else with such bright and positive energy as April. ☀️

When creating her branding, I wanted to ensure the many layers of her personality was captured. We opted to pull inspiration from nature, while highlighting April’s individuality and femininity!

We landed on a soft purple palette, with touches of natural pink tones. We felt this was the perfect representation of female energy, nature and professionalism!

Never met a sunset I didn’t love 😍🌅

Golden hour photos are arguably my favourite part of any wedding and event! It’s such a beautiful moment to sneak away as a couple, snap some pics and enjoy a moment alone before joining the party!

When planning your timeline - you have to consider an array of moments! Golden hour photos require a careful plan between your wedding planner, photographer and likely your caterer!

The first step is to check when the sun will be setting on your special day! The earlier in the year, the later the sunset - meaning of course the later in the year, the earlier the sunset! ☀️🕶️

Once you know what time frame you’re working with, you then need to see where that falls into your day - will it be during dinner? After or in between speeches? Sometime during the dance floor opening?

Once you determine what the sunset aligns with on the large plan of the day, it’s time to tweak the plan to coordinate all the things!

The most important part however, is trusting your planner, photographer and vendor team to be flexible and act accordingly on the day! The sun waits for no one and things happen - so don’t panic if there are small changes made on the fly!
