Fall feedbag in full force. You can expect the fish to gain a lot of weight this time of year. It’s incredible! Here are a few highlights of some big ones that have come over the gunnel of the Triton Boats with friends the last month.
Nothing better than a day on the water with friends!
Scott and I are gonna get in the boat one more time this year and put a whoopin’ on em hopefully in the next week! 💪🏻

Everyone always asks “ whatcha gettin’ em on?” lol
I can honestly say each day is different and each day they seem to want the bait presented differently. Whether it’s on Lake Ontario/ St. Lawrence River or a local back lake, no one presentation is the only presentation.
Sometimes the ol jig head minnow deal is the only way to get bites. Other days dragging around a Freedom Tackle football jig with a ProWater Baits “deadly nedley” is lights out. Sometimes it’s various swim baits. Some days they will eat ANYTHING! Other days they will eat nothing. 😂
Putting the puzzle pieces together and figuring them out is the best part!

Yesterday was a great day for Loudon Acheson Fishing.

Matt went out with Rob Jackson and successfully caught some monster Smallmouth. I, along with friends Jake Lightford and Peter Charlebois, tried our luck at the elusive fall Musky. Although we weren't as successful this time, we had a fantastic time and covered a lot of water.

This stuff is deadly on high pressured fish. If you haven’t tried it out for yourself, do yourself a favour! We always have a bottle, hard stick and an injector kit in the boat with us!
It’s the perfect stocking stuffer for a bass fisherman! 🎄🎅

Well the 2024 season has come to an end for us at Shootout Fishing League. The LAF teams put on a great show on the weekend with Matt and Alex finishing in the top 10 in 8th place at the championship on White Lake. Scott and Mason also had a great finish!!👏
Our goal with LAF this year was to create a platform for anglers to showcase a “team” environment, share information, and general camaraderie amongst each other. When we win, we win together, but when we lose we all lose together. This year was a WIN!
It is a unique concept since many fishing relationships are built on individual merits, but at LAF we are a team. We hope more people and businesses support LAF in the future and be part of something just a little bit different.
