Hiiii, it’s been a while. 🤍

We’ve got some new faces around here so I thought it was time to re-introduce myself! 🥰

I’m Jess — mama to Teaghan, coffee fanatic, & owner of Cheers! Events. A little bit about me:

✨ I graduated from ISU with a degree in Event Management in 2018
✨ I worked for ISU as a wedding & event planner from 2016-2022
✨ I started Cheers! Events as a side-gig with my close friend Nicole in March 2020 (literally 2 weeks before COVID shut the world down 🤪)
✨ Through the years, we’ve taken very limited # of weddings per year as we both worked full-time in the event industry (working weekends for our full-time jobs + Cheers! Events)
✨ In October 2022, I left ISU to be a full-time SAHM + started working as a virtual assistant/beauty coordinator for (s/o to my HDG brides 🥰)
✨ Cheers! Events was my first “baby”, but now I am so grateful to have the opportunity to be home with my daughter + pursue my passion for weddings & events
✨ 99% of my weddings are referrals from previous clients & vendors (the biggest compliment!!)
✨ When I’m not working weekends for Cheers! Events, you might find me with some of my “friendors” — doing set up with Pretty Petunia Floral, hanging at The Evermore, or modeling for a shoot for The Sugared Bug (as pictured)

Basically, my life (+ all my jobs/hobbies) revolve around the DSM wedding + event industry. 🤩 I truly love what I do, and I LOVE the people I get to work with (vendors, couples, families, etc.)

It’s Erin + Andrew‘s wedding week, and I CANNOT contain my feels!!! 🥹

I booked their wedding date when I was super duper pregnant, not knowing at the time that their wedding would fall on my daughter’s 1st birthday weekend! Needless to say, this wedding has been a special one for me, and this couple has been nothing short of amazing to work with. I cannot wait to celebrate them this weekend!! 🥳

PSA: IT’S ALMOST BABY WEEK! 🤩

A little reminder to our lovely clients, vendors, and friends that Jess will be on maternity leave from July 13-August 15 to soak up all the new baby snuggles with little miss Teaghan Marie. 🤍
