We are Miguel and Rachel Alvarez, the owners and hosts behind Rocky Top Falls in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. What began as our family’s sanctuary in 2021 has now become a place where wedding weekends turn into lifelong memories.
After moving from Florida, we fell in love with the slow, simple life here and the beauty that surrounds us. That love coupled with repeated requests by our guests to host their wedding at our home, inspired us to transform Rocky Top Falls into a wedding venue in April 2024 so others can experience the magic of this place too.
Whether you dream of a sunset ceremony with breathtaking mountain and lake views, an intimate elopement by our private waterfall, or a small gathering of up to 75 guests, Rocky Top Falls provides the perfect setting. With cozy accommodations in our guesthouse, you and your loved ones can relax and enjoy every moment of your special day.
Our journey here is guided by our faith and a special verse that has always inspired us: ‘But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.’ — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV).

From our property, you’ll find the trailhead at the southern point between two large boulders and travel 0.13 miles down 135 feet of elevation to access the lake. The trail is mostly rock steps, dirt, and leaves and can be slippery when wet. Walking sticks are available in our garage. You’ll have to hike back out to return to the house.
