🌻 Happy National Sunflower Day 🌻

Sunflower season is here, and I'm excited to share that I'm sticking it out this year and giving sunflower field sessions a try again!🌞 In the past, I've shown a bit of an allergy to these beautiful fields, but I love them too much to stay away.

So, to add to the excitement of sharing the news yesterday about hiring Jada to be on the team, I wanted to add a little backstory.

I had the opportunity to unexpectedly interview her for mock interviews for her senior year 2024! I had never done anything like that, and it was not planned—I had about 15 minutes before the interviews started. I interviewed several students and judged the whole experience with each student.

Jada impressed me; she was clearly engaged and wanting more exposure to photography, and I knew right then in that interview that she would be great to work with.

Jada’s title is Assistant Field Photographer, which means she will attend sessions as the photographer in place of me and for now I will complete the galleries with edits. When I am free and available for capturing photographs with you (which I still will be doing sometimes), if Jada is available, she will assist. All sessions will be scheduled through Creative Peak's page, and pricing will remain the same with our normal occasional deals! Before Jada is off on her own, she will attend several sessions alongside me for initial guidance. I look forward to introducing her to all of my amazing Peak clients!

Hi, I’m Jada. I’m 18 years old, born and raised in Mount Morris, and I am a 2024 graduate from EAJ! In my free time, I love to spend time with my nieces, nephews, and all of my family.

My grandma bought a camera when I was about 7 or 8 years old, and I’ve loved photography ever since. I remember going over there on weekends and taking pictures all weekend, even if it was just in the backyard, or we would go on adventures to find new picture spots!
