Dirty Habit! Don't let this craft cocktail get in the way of your New Year's resolution. However, I used two different types of whiskey that I had at home to fill the jar. It was amazing. Yes, I had to add some good old ice and water to the strained mixture once it was in my glass, but that's it! There are two large sugar cubes that come in the jar. Take one out. Add your booze. Let the sugar dissolve. Infuse for 3-24 hrs. (More flavor after longer infusion). Strain and enjoy! Add strained herbs and fruit back into the jar. Throw in the second sugar cube and repeat!

This Laconiko white balsamic vinegar with a bourbon touch is amazing! I'm making a salad dressing with the vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic, herbs, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. So good. This product is available at The Foundry.

{ b i g • n e w s } 📣

I have big news that I’ve been keeping on the down low for 6+ months. Today it’s time to spill the beans!

Many of you have heard that The Foundry is closing. Last week, our location on Broadway, has gone up for lease. I’m amazed at how many of you saw the listing. The rumor mill has taken off, so it’s time to set the record straight.

It’s TRUE…
The Foundry’s broadway location will be closing at the end of August! It’s been 5 years and my lease is about to expire. It’s time to make a change.

but WHY?…
There comes a time when you have to really think about what the future holds. What is my purpose? What am I passionate about? Is this something that I want to do until I hit retirement age? Do I have support? Is it sustainable?

The ANSWER…
My friends, I cannot imagine doing anything else but The Foundry. It is a huge part of me…YOU are a huge part of me. This is it!! This is my legacy. This is what I was meant to do. God has a plan for me and it is so much bigger than I could have ever dreamed of.

But I’M STILL CONFUSED…
Ok! Ok! The short answer is best anyways!

The Foundry is closing it’s broadway location because I found The Foundry’s forever home in Downtown Minot! WE ARE MOVING this fall!!

But WHERE?…
Through God’s design, one of my Foundry customer’s, has become my Investment partner and together WE bought the Bricks Studio building near Ebeneezers. We own the building together but I am the sole owner of The Foundry. Makes sense?! So now I’m a tenant of a property that I own. 😂

The Foundry will be bigger and better than before.
• Yes, Foundry Coffee Co, hosted by Magic Bean Brewing Co. is coming with me.

• My goal is to be open in our new location by October…at the latest.

• Bigger space means we need to grow our team of Makers and Sales Associates. More info coming soon…

For this weekend, I’m going to relax and enjoy the calm before the storm. I pray that I can do this beautiful building justice.
