Kat aka. Maia Katz - a Bulgarian-born DJ with a passion for groovy house and techno music. Her love began in early childhood when her mom would wake her up with house music blasting from the radio, setting the tone for a lifelong dedication to the genre.

Maia's selection spans from groovy house tracks to classics from the 90s. Her focus is always on selecting music that keeps your ears entertained and the energy flowing. Her DJ career started here in Christchurch, where she saw an opportunity to bring something fresh and unique to the local music scene. You might have seen her at a warehouse rave, at XCHC, Mary Hush, Bonobo or maybe at your friend's house party.
