Handmade in the heart of the North East, we have been developing a collection of high quality multi-way dresses. Each piece will be made specific to your bridesmaids waist and height so that you don’t need to worry about alteration appointments/charges for your bridesmaids. We simply hand make the dress the right size the first time giving you peace of mind to focus on the other elements of wedding planning.

We have 3 fabric choices to choose from and in a range of hand selected colours. We can also offer other colours (please enquire with us directly about this).

INTRODUCING… Love Rare alteration and design studio.

We have been developing a brand new specialist alteration concept store in Washington for bridal, prom, MOB, MOG alterations. We wanted to create a space that was dedicated solely to getting the fit of your dress right for you. We have always had an in-house alteration service at Rare Bridal but for the last few months we have moved away from alterations at our Low Fell studio and now have a brand new and exciting space. We welcome brides from all over the region, no matter where you bought your dress from. Rita is leading over at Love Rare (alterations and design studio) alongside Kate, a new face for us this year. If you want a private and luxury feel to your dress fitting process, we can provide this at our new space. Rita, a talented dressmaker of over 30 years will guide you through getting your dress fitting perfectly and you will feel confident your dress is in safe hands.

This week we met again with the lovely Fiona from as she has created a paper bouquet for our boutique and we are absolutely in love! The flowers in the bouquet are HANDMADE from paper and we just cannot get over how realistic they are. This is a perfect idea for brides who might want to keep their bouquet after their wedding or do not want fresh flowers.

Our lovely bouquet will be in our studio for all of our brides to admire but also to hold when you’re in your favourite dresses so you can start to get a feel of the entire wedding day look 🫶🏻

This has been in the works for so long now and we are incredibly proud of our first ever collection for the new brand 🤍 each piece has been designed and handmade right here in the North East.

We have been creating bespoke pieces and have had a few pieces of our own in the studio for a while but we felt it was time to give our work its own identity aside from the shop.
