I miss your stubbornness!
I'm going to share a little story... long story short, a game shop tried to sell me a second hand PSP for the price of a new one. It was on pre-order they already had my money, it's a couple weeks before Christmas & I was willing to take it as I needed the gift. Kay was having none of it. She stormed into the shop & demanded the new item or my money back, she stood there. Holding up the queue, little Lara in a pram, ready to stay all day if she had to. She didn't care, she was determined. I got my money back & she went to another shop, purchasing the brand new PSP at £20 cheaper! 😂 oh she wouldn't back down! Always a fighter 💪 ❤️

Kayleigh loved Forever friends. Her room was filled with teddies & trinkets as a kid. She had the bedding & a clock. She wanted to throw Penny a big forever friends themed party for her first birthday.
So many times you see something & you want to show her or tell her about it. We shall remember you fondly when see forever friends.

The children had their 2nd Christmas without their mum. Kayleigh loved Christmas; going to church & celebrating the birth of Jesus, singing carols, showing her family how much she loved us by spending far too much money, & playing with the kids.
For Ethan & Lara it's particularly difficult as they've also lost their dad. Losing both parents is hard enough but at 9 & 14 they've had a lot to overcome. As a family we've tried our best to carry on traditions & make new ones as we all adjust.
Lara has enjoyed spending this Christmas with Ethan & Penny & looks forward to celebrating her birthday tomorrow with her little sister. She'll see everyone else at the weekend as she marks her 16th birthday.

Take the love you have for me
