Bret Busby ...gone too soon 😔 Hard to believe the news. We shared some crazy times together, like Rockin' the River Shiver in your boat with Brooke Hamblin and helping me lay the foundation for BULLing the Sandbar. Thank you Dominic Rocco Buttitta for introducing us those many years ago. Love you brother. We'll miss you ❤️

The celebration of life will be next Sunday, April 7th at 1PM at the Bartlett Moretti’s.

Happy Friday, everybody. It's been a while since I've posted. But let's get it done, all day err day like a boss. First off, unfortunately, I have the bad news of saying that we only have about four to six weeks left of boating up here in the midwest. So we're gonna take advantage of it, starting this weekend at Fantasy at Blarney's Island - we're gonna be rocking it. See you out there!

Hello everybody, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I hate to do this again but it’s the second time in a row this has happened to us here at BULLing the Sandbar. The Lake House on Piskatee started serving brunch a couple months ago. We went there for the first time with a large group, around 14 of us, and they had a comp our whole meal because it was so bad that most of us never even got our food. So we decided to give them a second chance at the owner’s request. This morning we went there with only four of us to make it easier. The wait staff was good but it took us an hour to get food. Me and the Mrs. both got crab Benedict’s, and the eggs were so overdone they were nearly hard boiled. Plan to skip the Southwest Eggrolls as well, they’re not good and likely the frozen variety from Costco. Hopefully they can turn things around but we won’t be back.

, Being home on the chain make me think that we still have the best boating in the Midwest. We are a big family. We do a lot together like this weekend it is the annual chain o lake pirate cruise. So guy another weekend in the books. But now we have the last great party day weekend coming up. Labor Day weekend three days of extreme boating up here in the North. but on a side note I would like to say something that I haven't done in a very long time here at Bulling The Sandbar. We lived in the moment, no recordings no videos just us enjoying life getting older realizing that life is short and you just got to live. It nice to do every once In a while. BUT NOW we need to be ready so enjoy this video.

This Saturday, thousands of boaters will head to Little Muscamoot Bay in Lake St. Clair to participate in Raft Off – an unsanctioned marine event. If you are attending, please be responsible.

🌊 LOWER WATER LEVELS:

The majority of Raft Off boating accidents over the years have occurred in the narrow channels used to transit to and from the bay. Boaters are urged to travel at a safe speed and maintain situational awareness.

📝 HAVE A PLAN:

Make sure you have a plan for reliable transportation to and from the event, a communications plan (waterproof option for your phone or radio), life jacket, and plenty of food and water. Although responders from local, state and federal agencies will be available, being prepared is half the battle!

🛟 LIFE JACKETS:

This event has the potential to become dangerous very quickly, with many boats in a small area, and participants walking around in the water. Please make sure you are wearing your life jacket appropriately.

🛥 ILLEGAL CHARTERS:

There may also be people soliciting for boat rides to attend Raft Off on various websites. If a vessel operator is charging to take you underway on their boat as a passenger, that is considered a Charter, and the vessel and operator need to be properly credentialed. This is to ensure the safety of everyone on the boat.

Well guys we made it through the raft off weekend. We came and saw and el toro kicked some ass. We can't wait to do it all again next year. We need to take Jeremy and Justin for all the help and hook up to get us so close to the party. We also got some good videos for all of you BTS fans to enjoy. Now we are going back home to enjoy what we have thank you and see you next year raft off.
