Naqsh Fatima is currently a freshman at the University of Punjab, Lahore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics. She has been part of the debating circuit for the past 5 years, and has been part of the MUN circuit for more or less 2 years. She has partaken in various reputable international and national Model UN Conferences as a Delegate, Secretariat and member of the Executive Council.
She has poured out her heart and soul into ensuring that VIMUN is not merely an internationally recognized conference, but that it also offers an experience as enriching as one would expect a real life conference to do.
For Naqsh, the most significant component of a Model United Nations conference is the quality of debate and the level of diplomacy that shall follow. If you have the ability to negotiate and come to terms with those around you, you shall make it to her good list.
Fun fact about Naqsh: She loves the show Brooklyn Nine Nine, and identifies herself as a 'Cool Nerd'.
You will probably always find her in the UNHRC or UNCSW as a delegate; her remarkable fascination towards issues pertaining to them does often emerge in her write-ups and articles. Cumulatively, Naqsh Fatima is your average youth yearning to make her mark with her journalism, public speaking and creative skills simultaneously.

Arqam Altaf-ur-Rehman Niaz has graduated from Forman Christian College (F.C.C)as a student of Computer Sciences, after graduating from Lahore Grammar school. He has been in the MUN circuit for the past 6 years, and was given the opportunity to be in the Secretariat of both University and school level MUN conferences such as CANTT MUN, UCP MUN III, AIMUN, FORMUN and many more. He has been to Republic of India, in the parliament of India, to debate upon the sensitive issues including the Kashmir issue and the rights of Minorities in India. Possessing natural inclination towards international diplomacy since early years in middle school, MUNs turned from his interest to hobby and finally to his passion. He has also been the Director General of his school MUN. Arqam Altaf will be serving as the Secretary General for Virtual Intercontinental Model United Nations (VIMUN). He looks forward to meeting all the delegates and sends his best wishes to them.

Greetings, everyone! Virtually making your acquaintance is me, Ayatain Ali. For some of you, it may be easier to simply identify me as your Director General here at VIMUN compared to pronouncing my often butchered name. I’m an avid reveller in the MUN Circuit, primarily as a debater so it is needless to say that I am beyond thrilled to be serving in the Executive Council for VIMUN. It is an honour to be entrusted with such a distinguished position and I sincerely hope that I can prove myself to be worthy.
Assuming that is plenty for formalities, allow me to share a particular tweet that takes up an astounding amount of my thoughts by none other that Britney Spears who tweeted in 2011 saying “Does anyone think global warming is a good thing? I love Lady Gaga. I think she’s a really interesting artist.”
I resonate with her whimsical train of thought, something that concerns me when I experience it but the cheekily mischievous, almost radical conversation starter is something we all like to do at times!
Lastly, know that you should rest assured about being in good hands. May you have the best of luck as you’re prepping and presenting!

Hi,
My name is Mohammad Owais Sabri and I am honored to serve as Head internal affairs at VIMUN’20. I am a first-year student at LUMS and much like a lot of people within the VIMUN team, I use Public Speaking as a tool to escape from my arduous routine. As someone who started MUNs in the most traditional of ways and in a time when venturing outside of our homes wasn’t a luxury, VIMUN presented me with a unique opportunity to host an MUN which is much more than fancy jargon, it is a unique learning opportunity for all delegates participating. The entire team has tried their utmost best to create an environment which encourages learning first and I hope the delegates enjoy debating in this environment as much as we have enjoyed creating it.
When I’m not procrastinating my assignments, I can be found playing, watching or talking about football. Admittedly, though, as a Barcelona fan, I have stopped doing the latter as often as I would before. Nevertheless, I am extremely excited to welcome you all to VIMUN and I can’t wait to meet all of you virtually!
