Reflecting on last year and there were so many times I was told I don’t really have ‘time’ to be DJing because it was just breaking even rather than making profit at the time..

Times I was told on the day of a doof not to go because I shouldn’t be using my gas on that..

I would show up anyway, and get told that people brought tickets literally just to see me 🎟️

Each time I’d hop of the stage, I’d get an offer for another gig and get a little bit better each time 🎶
In the last 6-8 months I’ve noticed the most difference even in my skills and music choice one gig from the last 🎧

Each opportunity is a chance to practice, and what if that was the only thing keeping me wanting to be on this planet some days?
2023 was looking like that for a while 🌻

Don’t fu***ng give up your dreams man, especially if it’s a huge factor in keeping you sane and happy with a healthy bit of challenge 💗💪🏼

Sorry for the late notice but if you’re free this Saturday and want to have a nice little trip out to nature (Sunny Coast), are having a launch party in place of the main doof that’s been postponed to August 🎶
It’s more of an intimate community event for those who are passionate about the scene 🫶🏼

Had a pretty crazy week rebranding the graphics for my nutrition business, working at the gym, trying to find somewhere to live in a week and a half, getting booked for another girls birthday on the Sunday, gyming for my body building prep, launched an e-book, walking the dog etc 😆
So I just thought to use my Dimension mix and just swap out a few tracks and holy f**k even just practicing once that could have been recorded for my Soundcloud it was so fire 😈

So this group will get to see an International level performance haha I’m not afraid to say that either because I’ve reeeally found my style now 📈

Excision for touch bass (felt like I was melting against the wall for 20mins then it was over 🥲)

I always thought it would be the heaviest dubstep until the day I die, so although I still dabble in it I’ve really been enjoying hard dance/hard techno lately 🐎
And creature bass as always for some trippy 4am sh*t 🐊

Learnt during lockdown and had my debut in Mackay for and Helasex🤘🏼

DJ NAME
I never planned on pursuing DJing as I thought I just liked to support as an attendee, but it popped into my brain like a message from the universe in an instant along with the name ‘Terminate’, like terminate you with the drop 😂
I didn’t even need to think about it 🔫

FUN FACT
Because I also do body building and these two lifestyles don’t usually go together, I want to prove you can find the balance between them with raving and becoming a tank in the process 🏋️‍♀️

Super excited for this set 🎶
I’ve been playing heaps of fast stuff lately like hard dance and hard techno, but I originally fell in love with creature bass (I like to call it) years ago at the beginning of my journey 🙏🏼
It’s my own genre that I made up, basically anything that just makes you feel like a creature in a swamp and trips you out with every drop 😆

It’s been nice to pull out all my old tunes along with some new ones to create this bass experience 🧌👽

Biggest lineup I’ve ever been on tbh 🤔
So many don’t chase their dreams in fear of embarrassing themselves and worrying what others will think 💭

I use each time I hop on stage as an opportunity to mix a little bit better, have a bit better stage presence, have a better flow of song choices.
Taking pretty much every gig I can get even if it’s 5 hours drive away for barely any money at the start, just for the pure love of sharing my taste in music.

I’ve been told ‘you really shouldn’t be going to that gig because you have more important things to do that pay better’, but when I rock up after hours of being on the road, I get told several people bought their tickets literally just to see me..
Or “we’ve been waiting for you to arrive, we just came to see you” 🤯

Imagine if I’d listened to the alternative..

Each gig gives me new connections and friendships, a booking for another event, a greater understanding of the industry and art of DJing 🎧

Don’t take advice from someone who isn’t where you want to be 😉
