Nikki Deverman and I have joined forces to create a community at Herban Remedy that supports women through guidance, physical and emotional healing and the power of sisterhood. No women ought to walk through this life alone. A tremendous part of what we do is education. Education is power. Pain, suffering, abuse and despair all thrive in the shadows of silence. In keeping with our goal to educate women, I am sharing these podcasts from Stop SIS, an organization founded in the need to educate and end the silent suffering of s*x trafficking victims. These beautiful, faithful, incredible, brave women are personal friends of mine. Denise is a wife, mother, Life Coach, author and former Clinical Psychologist. Rachel is a wife, mother, speaker, author and survivor of decades of s*x trafficking. Together, with a group of supportive women, they are shining light on the darkness and enabling healing.

It's scary stuff. It's difficult to listen to. It's difficult to know about. But closing our eyes doesn't make it go away. Covering our ears doesn't protect our daughters, sons, sisters, neighbors, friends. Just by educating yourself, you make a positive difference.
