Hello everyone and happy Friday. As we are turning the corner and more and more venues continue to open up, let us do our share by helping our fellow vendors with essential information related to venue logistics. This will greatly help those who are too far away from a venue they will be at in the future and maybe it will help you as well.
Utilizing this will be beneficial in supporting each other in a way that is not only instrumental in the overall success of the next event but it will also beneficial to the venues in knowing that each vendor is supporting each other.
Blessings...

Bentley Station
222 Betchan Dr
Lake Dallas 75065
Mary Kay - Owner
PROS
* Right off I35 just north of Lake Dallas.
* Easy access from freeway. Load in to venue is very easy. Front doors lead directly into main ballroom.
+ Indoor ceremony area right off of main ballroom.
* Floor plan changes to suit clients needs.
* I am given 5 hours load in time and 2 to strike
* Plenty of power for DJ needs.
CONS
* All cases and gear not used has to be put back in vehicle. No area fo store empty cases.
* There is an outdoor ceremony area but did not visit it so I don’t have any info.
The owner is awesome. Very easy to work with. Following Covid requirements and enforces for food & beverage service..
I will add a video in comments

Rosemary Barn, Melissa, TX.

Thursday night I went to an open house to support Gus Garza and tried to get as much logistical information as possible. Here is some logistical information:

* load in area has 2 reserved spots for vendors to unload/load
*walking to venue is about 150’ (all cement)
* there are two options for ceremony, so potentially 2 sound setups:

OUTSIDE CEREMONY
* 1 speaker
* 1 lavalier
* 1 wired/wireless mic
* min 25’ ac cable for power. Power is pulled from bridal
suite.
* table, media player, music, cables & music

RECEPTION
* 2 speakers
* dj rig
* 1 wireless mic plus additional mic
* 12 uplights min. (if ordered)
* 2 dance floor lights (optional)
* table, music, cables and stands

If ceremony is inside venue you can use your reception setup. If it is in the main ballroom. If it is in the back room, you will need a second setup.

I’m sure I might be missing something. Gus or anyone else can comment and add to the details.

Welcome to DFW Vendor Logistics. A page dedicated to providing vendors informative logistical information related to venues throughout the DFW and surrounding areas. We invite you to post information and pictures about a venue you are working at that will be helpful to other vendors. Information such as contacts, parking, load in, equipment needs, access ramps, power, lighting, stages, access and anything else that is helpful and valuable to the next vendor working that venue. Pictures are always a great visual resource.

This is a work in progress so I invite everyone to provide input to help make this a valuable resource for vendors.
