I met Charlie, the owner of Swift Entertainment. They have recently been granted permission to purchase the Weybridge hall.
Swift Entertainment plans to convert the Weybridge hall into a Edwardian style top end theatre with interiors in Gold, Red and Brasses.
The new theatre will host musical shows, ballet performances and bring in a real mix of well known performers. The ground floor will house the main theatre with a capacity of over 300 seats. The first floor will have two function rooms and a bar. Finally on the second floor, there will be a dance studio and music rehearsal rooms - which will be available for general hire.
Charlie, who also owns the Esher theatre, feels that this new addition to the Weybridge high street will bring additional foot fall to our town centre and provide a boost to the local businesses.
Work on the new theatre will start in early 2023.

In addition, Charlie has also promised that he will be restoring the Jubilee Clock - by this year end.
