A sunny Saturday for a Farmer's Market and Face Painting in our local Vermilion Park. I'll be set up in Victory Park from 10am to 2pm offering face painting, glitter tattoos, unicorn horns, lots of glitter, and Free Smiles!

What an AWESOME Festival of the Fish! Thank you to everyone that came out and visited our little town of Vermilion. And thank you to everyone that stopped by for a face paint, a bit of glitter tattoo, or an awesome festival tattoo. I loved helping to create so many smiles over the three days! Hope to see everyone back next year!

He is currently into space and dragons, so had to paint the door as part of the celebration :-)

And new look for the kit! Much cleaner look and better use of space with 3 layers. I'm really digging the black and white which really makes the paint and glitter colors pop :-)

I see that the Coronavirus has made it to Ohio and potential clients might be worrying about contagion... so I wanted to post about how professional face painters stay clean and sanitary while at an event. This is our standard practice for EVERY gig.

- I use a clean sponge for each client. Once used, it is set aside until washed.
- After each client, my brushes are washed in anti-microbial soap and rinsed twice.
- I use disposable cotton buds for painting lips
- Stencils are clean with antibacterial wipes after each use
- I use hand sanitizer between every client
- All my cosmetic grade paints contain several anti-bacterial ingredients as deterrents to germs.
- I will not paint anyone that appears ill or has open sores or rashes on their faces.
- After an event, all my equipment gets washed and wiped down with antibacterial wipes. All brushes are washed with soap and dipped in boiling water. All sponges are machine washed on high heat setting.

Lastly, alternatives to painting on faces can be offered. Glitter tattoos are great because they are placed on arms and their application process is a single disposable use.
