This is kind of a sad, sentimental, excited (and slightly overfaced) post for me...
I've been DJing on Traktor using my laptop and my trusty Kontrol for nearly 10 years. It has a really small footprint so it's been handy for bars, but it's also not Pioneer, which means I never learned to mix using CDJs... Only this.
I've been upgrading my mixing skills over the last 12 months, and I've wanted to transfer to Pioneer forever so I can play out/mix on other people's CDJs - without remortgaging the house to buy a pair. I also want something portable enough to take to venues without their own kit (and without my laptop) AND something I can still use with my PC for home mix making.
Sooo... It's a sad goodbye to my little Traktor friend, and say hello to my massive NEW friend, the XDJ-RX3. It's built like an actual tank, and hopefully it'll last me another 10 years of joyous noisemaking.

Not gonna lie, this one goes all over the place... in a good way though, right? Lots of deep-edged house, some terrifying jazz breaks, bits of random garage... and finishing with two tracks from the brilliant Watergate 20 Years collection.
