The diffusers are in the shop! 🧚🏽‍♀️

I have loved working on these and making something I can use myself. I cannot have candles in my office (probably a good idea since I don’t have the best track record of lighting the out 🤦🏽‍♀️), but I just feel I work better with a little background scent. So long story short, these essential oil diffusers have been super helpful. You can have them in your office, car closet, next to your bed, etc etc etc.

Something I learned this market is that I need to learn how to pack light 😂 I have never been good at that and this time I had to drag a whole whicker thing up a flight of stairs that I could have lived without 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hello!! I realized I never have really introduced myself here and that it was about time so here we go!! 🏃🏽‍♀️ 🏃🏽‍♀️ 🏃🏽‍♀️
My name is Erika and I started my small business in 2019 with little hand lettering projects. I have always enjoyed trying new things no matter what it is and this is how I then got into macrame.
As the pandemic hit I felt I needed to try something new and so I made a macrame coaster. I felt like a champion finishing that baby up 😂 I swear it was so ugly, but I did not care!
Since then I have not only become pretty good at coaster making 😉 but I have had the chance to create some other pretty cute things.
Something I love about macrame is it’s versatility. I find it so motivating to get to make things that not only look great but that serve a purpose and can be used in peoples homes!
I hope I get to bring something cute to your home soon 🖤

A few weeks ago the hubby and I bought our first home ☺️ it’s being so nice making this new space ours and getting to have room to get all of our things set up!
A few things I have learned so far PAINT EDITION
1. Painting is a WORKOUT 🏋️ my arms have been so sore these past couple of weeks
2. Paint is expensive!! Especially if you do not already have the rollers, brushes, etc! 💸💸
3. The prep will take longer than the actual painting itself!! It’s took me HOURSSS to take and cover all the floor, carpet and edges I did not want paint on 🕰 BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!
4. Lastly, don’t get paint on your hair.... you would think I would know this, yet every time I painted somehow my whole bun would touch the wet paint 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

All in all it really has been a great couple of weeks ♥️ there is still a lot to be done but I know it will be worth it!

Macramé is such a beautiful, versatile material to work with. Anything made out of it, whether it is a coaster, key chain, plant hanger or wall decoration, brings a little extra brightness to any space it is placed in. It can be temperamental and at times, I am not going to lie, but worth the effort.

Sister and I took a class on how to make them when we were young and loved it! But after a little incident involving fire (and the kitchen ceiling getting a dark spot) I took a long break from making them.
For months now I have been planning and thinking about making candles again and finally got a scent I love ❤️

I wanted to show all of you something I have been working on. These are “faux terracota bases”. They are recycled bases painted and treated to look like terracotta!
I have genuinely loved working on these and a big part of it has been that they reminds me of some on the decorations you would see in Peru 🇵🇪 (where I am from).
There is still some work to be done on them and sadly the frigid weather Ohio has been treating us with has prevented me from putting the finishing touches on these. But hopefully soon!!!
