Started in 2018 as Juniper Jam, the festival has thrived through the years as an ever-growing collaboration between a rockstar crew of people from a wide range of backgrounds. Hey June Jam Fam! Guess what? After having such an awesome time at June Jam, we just couldn’t wait another year to see your beautiful faces again... So we’ve decided to return to Playa Ponderosa one more time this season for an intimate gathering unlike any we’ve thrown before!

June Jam 2022 was a truly magical experience for all of our team, and we wouldn’t change a thing about it. But, due to numerous variables, including weather, the threat of smoke/fire, and the hurdles of event planning in an inflated economy (especially when your party runs on diesel!), we simply did not hit our mark with ticket sales.

Nevertheless, we were close, and the vibe was awesome, so proceeds from Weekend at the Oasis will be used to get us over the line for our 2022 budget goals and help us build a small nest egg for June Jam 2023.

Weekend at the Oasis is a 2-day limited-capacity event unfolding this September 23-24th at Playa Ponderosa. We’ll be spending the weekend beneath the trees of The Oasis with some of our favorite Arizona DJs for 2 full nights of music leading into a spectacular Sunday morning sunrise, and we’d love to see your faces there! Our wonderful friends from Heitened Sound will be providing sound and our production will be a unique take on The Oasis that you’ve never seen before!

How is it already August!? Looking back at our summer, June Jam 2022 was an absolute blast and we are stoked to finally share our official aftermovie with everyone!

It's amazing to see our family growing from one year to the next, and we can't wait to see what 2023 has in store for us. Thank you to EVERYONE who came out and participated, and an extra shout out to our awesome video team for shooting and creating this nostalgia-inducing movie. We lost one of the great ones today. Our friend Matt King moved on this morning following a long, arduous, and downright defiant fight against cancer. He’s been with us sharing humor, kindness, and outright silliness for years. While we had ample time to prepare, nothing can truly prepare any of us for the loss of such an inspiring soul. He’ll forever live on in our hearts and his ridiculous jokes and shenanigans — even in the face of mortal disease — should remind us all that our time on this plane is limited and laughter and love really are the best medicines.

We urge everyone to reach out to someone they love today and share a laugh with them. Matt would have wanted it that way.

Godspeed, Matt. You were a King among men.
