Although the weather wasn't ideal for painting today at the Stanley Fall Festival, we still had lots of kiddos come get painted, have hair tinsel put in and a few glitter tattoos!

This is why it is important to hire a professional for your events! Unfortunately, some "professionals" try to get away with this. Always make sure the facepainter you are hiring has insurance and is using skin safe, cosmetic grade products.

ATTENTION PARENTS:
I feel I have to warn parents about painters that use paints that are not ACTUAL face paints, on their kiddos faces.
I see this a lot actually. These paints, such as acrylics, poster paints etc. are NOT meant for skin.
Please ask your painter before they paint, if their paints are for faces.
I have seen the results of this,… rashes, itching, swelling.
If the paints are not kid tested, please move on and find a painter that uses the correct paints.
