Congratulations! You're engaged, and now it's time to plan your dream wedding. 💍 But before you start picking out dresses and flowers, don't forget to slow down and enjoy this special time with your partner. At the end of the day, your wedding is about the two of you choosing to spend forever together, so don't let the planning details outshine what really matters. With that in mind, there are three questions we like to ask our couples to kickstart the planning process: When? Where? And Who?
WHEN? Is there a specific date that you've always known would be your wedding date? Are you passionate about a particular season? Does it need to take place during a certain time of year due to scheduling or personal reasons?
WHERE? Have you always dreamed of hosting your wedding on your family's property, in your hometown, or even in Greece, because both you and your partner are Greek?
WHO? How many people do YOU want to celebrate with? Who are the people who absolutely must be there to make your day feel complete? Keep in mind the guest list is entirely up to you and your partner. It's 2023, and inviting your entire town and your cousin's dog's hairdresser's family is not necessary (unless you want them there, of course!)
Starting with the easy questions that you may subconsciously already have the answers to will give you a reference point to plan everything else around. Wedding planning is a bit like building a puzzle in that way, so once you have the easy parts done, the rest of the pieces come together with a little reflection.
