I have a few more sets of my cups and balls project. If your interested the set comes with three antique brass cups and five hand carved cork balls as well as nearly 4 hours of digital instructions. Each person who orders them will also receive Four hours of one on one instruction from me. This is a unique set as well as original routines although the set can be used to do the normal western routine. The cups are similar to the Indian style cups and can be used to perform that presentation as well. DM me if interested in a set.

Congratulations to my brother fora successful Kickstarter campaign. A Brush With Death playing cards are amazing. The back design is black and white but the level of detail is incredible. The faces of the court cards are all custom and features people close to the artist. Deck comes with two identical jokester featuring a winged hourglass with a scythe symbolizing that seat waits for no one. There are a few extra cards especially for the magicians who like transformation card effects. The finish is silky making fanning and spreading a breeze. The stock is soft and thin and traditional cut making the perfect ferro with little effort. Printing by USPCC as all quality decks should be leaves no question to the standard of care and production value. I hope those who didn’t get in on the Kickstarter will be able to pick these up.

Invocation by Kings Wild Project
Only one of a few decks I have seen fully foiled. These are striking designs with full contrast due to the silver back backgrounds. The action of fanning and spreading is surprisingly smooth. Each card is custom Pips as well as court card designs. Jackson Robinson is one of the most prolific designers in the art card category. These are fabulous

Make a Spectacle of yourself! has given us a new tool to do just that. Spectacle Playing Cards by Jay Sanky and printed by USPCC. The cards are soft and springy not too thin but not like a casino stock. The finish is linen like and fans and faros exceptional right out of the box. The faces are standard except for the ace of spades and two identical jokers done i a whimsical childlike doodles, with The Ace having a replica of Jays signature as well. There are a couple of special cards included for the magical community and came with a link to instructions from one of the foremost magic teachers and creators in our life time. Happy to have supported my friend in his first successful Kickstarter campaign. Congratulations 🎉

Mmm these smell like strawberry and watermelon candy. Don’t know why but they have captured a strangely sweet smell into these cards. As a tuck sniffer these are on a level of there own in terms of sent experience. Don’t know how intentional that is but a huge added bonus to enjoyment. by your a legend

Wow 🤩 does it again! The Odd Fellows series of cards are beautiful. These cards feature imagery and symbols from the secret society and it various rituals. They have large pips and indices each card custom designed. The edges are foiled so the card stock is thicker than casino paper but the feeling is smooth and glides well in fans and table spreads. Shame I am to afraid to ferro so I can’t say if they are suitable for that. The tuck box it embossed and foiled as well as has cut out areas to see the cards.

These cards are beautiful! Eye of the Ocean by exceptional finish and cut these spread and farro like a dream. One of the few art cad designers that makes their cards functional as well as beautiful. I will post more pictures to come these are too good to throw in to one lump.

My first passion was drawing. This is my drawing of Krishna I did while in meditation for three days fasting and no sleep just meditation and drawing. I would close my eyes and I could see this person standing there and I would draw as much as I could. What is your passion outside of magic? I love art of all kinds as well as I have a passion for understanding consciousness and creation through philosophy and ancient stories passed through the ages.

132/600 Nocturna playing cards by .design and printed by beautiful details in the illusions and designs of the box are jaw dropping. Silver foil on a satin feel mate back tuck is a treat for the eyes and the fingers. I understand the darkness as a theme but unfortunately the black edges on the face and backs were visually nicked with minimal handling and that is an OCD nightmare. The cards are beautiful but the finish and texture of the cards make them clump up and they don’t fan or spread easily or evenly another huge hit to my enjoyment. I love the artist and the art I just wish that they would make better choices with finishing and practical stuff like making them useful. I still collect them for the art and to support the artists I would also like to be able to play with them rather than keep them in the box out of fear or nicking the edges or they are unusable as playing cards because the Finish leaves them in clumps.

Sweet app makes you an illustration. I think it looks good and I’m an artist. The power of math is magical to me. Simple binary can be manipulated into programable application is to me a form of wizardry.

When construction of your magic do you consider the emotional effects on the audience? I always start with a conscious effort to extract emotion of one kind or other. What is the affect you want to have and use that to guide the effect. The is more to the moment of magic than just awe. Thank Juan Tamariz for giving us the magic Rainbow.

Slydini’s Silks is one of my absolute favorites effects in close up magic. I use it as an opener to my parlor show and do it for walk around as well. “So beautiful” Slydini would say. Sometimes it is the simplest of things that can make a magical moment. A knot is something we all understand after the age of 3 so there in lies the beauty in this illusion. Do you do silk magic? Ever seen Slydini do the silks?

No touch idea for the Double cross style effect. This little gem is from Howard Thurston called the Mystic Cross. I love the Double Cross or the old ash to palm style routines but now it isn’t a good idea to touch the participant or doing magic on video we can’t use these great ideas but this shows there is always a way to solve any problem.
