Changes & Chances C&C C&C is an organization realizing professional educational programs and trainings at the intersection of art, education and society.

We work with people at the edge of society and use creative media as a tool to make them more active participants of society. We see non-formal and informal learning as strong tools to develop these skills and methodologies. We started to work in 2012. The first years we worked most of the time with people who have been, or might become in contact with Justice and criminal law. In recent years we

also started to work with other marginal groups such as drug abusers, young at risk, homeless people and refugees, but working with inmates is still the main element of our work. The core team of C&C consists of only three persons, Ed Santman, Ankie Til and Peter van Olmen all with many years of experience working in the cultural and education sector. In most of our trainings developing employability skills is an important element. We use the arts to develop soft skills such as active listening, communication, reflective thinking, collaboration, flexibility, critical thinking, etc. The last few years we worked a lot on blended learning and co-creation. We were involved in developing exiting new methods using our digital skills. We designed games in which we also used innovative approaches such as augmented reality and virtual reality. Recently we have developed a series of trainings and games for young people to help them to find work, find housing, organize their finances and make plans for their future. We stimulate them to become active citizens. Increasing the self-esteem of our target groups is always an element of our work.
