It has come to our attention that the last post concerning cost of hall was confusing. The hall has been paid for. We will be collecting donations to reimburse the person who paid for the hall. We will accept any amount you give. Please let us know if you have any questions on this.

NEWSFLASH*****UPDATE*****NEWSFLASH
We have some news! Thanks to Larry and Debbie Manchester we have reserved the VFW on Shove Street for Friday nights Meet 'n Greet. They do have a kitchen and serve food on that night. But we are thinking that everyone can bring their own order of pizza and buy drinks there or purchase food from the VFW kitchen.
*************The cost for renting the hall is $125.00 **************
We currently have a head count of 50 people this includes adults and children. So we are asking each person to pay $2.50 each to pay the cost of the hall.
Debbie and Larry Manchester were also able to get the VFW on Saturday night. They do not serve food. It was suggested to eat before coming to the VFW or bring your own food to the VFW. You are able to purchase drinks both nights from the VFW.
If this is not acceptable and you wish to not attend please let us know now.

Jean Family, it is becoming clear that finding a venue for the reunion may not happen. We have contacted many places and the following reasons have elimated all but one:
A. Too small of a group or too large
B. Too expensive (any where from $40+ for adults $20+ for children)
C. Delivery and take out only, restaurant area closed
That one place is Barcellos in Tiverton. Awaiting them to mail us information from their restaurant. He would prefer someone local but will do long distance if we have no one willing to meet with him in person.
Due to the problems even getting a venue for one night we have eliminated Friday, September 16th Meet 'n Greet.
So we are asking everyone to look for a place with the following requirements FOR Sunday, September 18th afternoon. Buffet style for 50 people or sit down individual meal menu. Buffet must contain some items for children - chicken tenders etc.
So this is where we stand please contact at: [email protected] if you are willing to help or have any suggestions. If we can not work with Barcellos we unfortunately will be cancelling the reunion.

We have received updates from mostly everyone I have updated the numbers given and if not confirmed I have just left name with no totals. Please, please let us know if you are attending with a head count.

UPDATE NEED YOUR HELP:
Need total figures of adults and children attending the Family Reunion no later than: May 31st.
After that if you have not let us know 1.) you are coming and 2.) head count of adults and children you will not be included in the head count for the buffet.
We will be having pizza on Friday nights get together and you will be able to order your choice of pizza and drinks individually; you will be responsible for paying for whatever you order Friday night. Saturday will be buffet style and with the total numbers; I will be able to announce the individual adult and children's prices for the buffet.
So, let's hear your final head counts for the buffet.

UPDATE ON REUNION:
Well believe it or not the date to have our numbers into the venue is fast approaching and we need a definite head count for all adults and children under the age of 10 by MAY 18, 2022.
If you believe we have not contacted a family member, please refer them to this site or let us know how to contact them directly.
The reunion and the dates are:

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year!
NOW, it's time to get down to making sure we all have a great time come September at the Jean Family Reunion!
We need to have a firm head count of adults and children to give the venues we are looking at. So pass this along to other family members who we have not been able to contact lets get the younger generation onboard!
If anyone has pictures of family and wishes to put they up here please let us know if you are unable. After the reunion this page will be renamed "Jean Family" and we are hoping that everyone will get in touch with pictures, announcements etc. on this site. To that end we are adding the first picture announcement!
