The lighting hits so differently during these winter engagement sunsets. ✨

Had so much fun taking E + J around Big Sur for their lovely engagement session. We found some rocks to adventure on overlooking the power Pacific Ocean. Then ran around the beach with our toes in the sand enjoying our windy yet warm golden sunset. Just how I like it!

Golden hour light play during the winter is absolutely stunning! ✨

The beautiful thing about shooting here on the coast of Big Sur California is that the lighting changes all throughout the year in different ways. During the winter months (Nov-Jan), we get this gorgeous light bleed through the trees and beaches that really add to the elegance and drama of your photos.

Lan and Bryan had the sweetest elopement day at and . We walked around capturing lovely shots and even took some with their lil pup. 🐶

There’s something special about eloping here on the coast.

I’m a huge fan of doing a FIRST LOOK on your wedding day!

Here’s why:

1. When you see each other before the wedding, it allows you the opportunity to get some couples portraits done before the ceremony. You can always go out after during sunset, of course but it’s nice to know you got some epic pictures before all of your guests arrived.

2. You also have the opportunity to get immediate family photos done before the ceremony. This is huge! Trying to do family portraits after the ceremony is often very difficult and time-consuming. And plus you want to spend as much time as possible with your friends and family not standing around waiting for uncle Bob to come back from the bar so you can take a picture!

Weddings at The Perry House in Monterey are some of the sweetest times. This beautiful classy house is fitted specifically to host your closest friends and family to celebrate your wedding.

I absolutely loved celebrating with H + J on this day! We partied all day long and they had permanent smiles on their faces. A day full of joy and laughter and dancing. We did their engagement shoot in Big Sur only a few months before and I was so happy that I got to see them again for their wedding day.

The Barns at Cooper Molera wedding photos with the dreamiest candids. ✨

This romantic and sweet wedding was one for the books. Between the incredible team at and , it was a day to remember! It’s easy to see why couples are always choosing The Barns in Monterey, California for their wedding day.

Tim and Maggie said the most heart-felt vows underneath the giant tree in the garden during their ceremony. Emotions were high and we ran around downtown Monterey capturing some beautiful wedding photos together!!
