১৬৬০ সালের ৫ ডিসেম্বর। ডোবারে একটা জাহাজ ডুবে যায়। সৌভাগ্যক্রমে একজন মানুষ বেঁচে যান জাহাজের। আর তার নাম ছিল হাগ উইলিয়ামস। এরপরের ঘটনা ১৭৬৭ সালের। একই স্থানে সেবার আরো একটি জাহাজ ডুবে যায়। মৃত্যু হয় জাহাজে থাকা ১২৮জন মানুষের ভেতরে ১২৭জনের। সৌভাগ্যক্রমে সেবারেও বেঁচে যান একজন। নাম হাগ উইলিয়ামস। পরবর্তীতে ১৮২০ সালের ৮ আগস্ট টেমস নদীতে ডুবে যায় আরেকটি জাহাজ। এতেও বরাবরের মতন বেঁচে যায় একজন। নাম? হাগ উইলিয়ামস। শেষ ঘটনাটি ১৯৪০ সালের ১০ জুলাই এর। এক ব্রিটিশ ট্রেলার জার্মান গোলার আঘাতে ধ্বংস হয়ে যায়। এই ঘটনায় ট্রলারের মাত্র দুজন মানুষ বেঁচে গিয়েছিলেন। সম্পর্কে তারা ছিলেন চাচা আর ভাতিজা। আর তাদের নাম? আন্দাজ করে নিন। ঠিক ধরেছেন, দুজনেরই নাম ছিল হাগ উইলিয়ামস!
