A year ago i had the pleasure of bartending the launch of an amazing creative studio & event space that turned out to create a lasting bond with the owner of . Grateful for all the opportunities we’ve had to mix & continue to provide 5 star service to all who have walked through those doors. 🫶🏽

✨✨Have you ever heard of the "power dead-even rule"?✨✨

I hadn't either until I started poking around the internet looking for information about why women don't support each other.

Come to find out there is already a body of research about it!

Pat Heim of the Heim Group coined this phrase in her book Hardball For Women: Winning At The Game Of Business.

She says for a woman to have a healthy realationship with another woman the self-esteem and power of one must be of the same weight as the other in the eyes of each woman.

In other words these elements must be kept "dead-even".

I share more about this on the Confident Sober Women podcast tomorrow as well as other thoughts on how women are't supporting other women. Be sure to listen and share.

One way to have opportunities for women to support each other is to create events for women that also celebrate women!

And that is exactly what I love doing.🥰
