OLIVER HENRY
@oliverhenry__ is a classically trained producer, multi-instrumentalist & DJ from Sydney, Australia. He composes forward-thinking electronic music transcending genres of breakbeat, house and brooding electronica.
His productions initially caught the attention of Alan Fitzpatrick, who supported and released the debut Exit Points EP in February 2022 featuring the hit ‘Closer’. This tune put Oliver on the map as one to watch, nearing two million streams across Spotify and Apple Music. It also featured as the closing track in &Me’s Keinemusik Radio Show, and was selected by Hudson Mohawke for his Mixmag Cover Mix. It then landed on the radar of Innervisions founder Dixon, who played it in a series of all-night-long DJ sets across Paris, London, Milan & L.A.
The success of Closer built a sizable curiosity for the young producer, and Oliver followed up with ‘You Forget’ - a luscious collaboration with longtime friend Keepa on Solomun’s own label 2Diy4. The track received immediate support from Pete Tong in his ‘Month in Dance’ show on BBC’s Radio 1, and a remix package was recently released featuring remixes by Laurence Guy, Touch Sensitive, PARIS and more.
2023 saw him enter the performance arena with his own sold-out headline show as well as highly sought-after support slots for the likes of DJ Tennis, Magdalena and Seb Wildblood.
With a 4-track EP released this year on Sydney-based label Gallery Recordings, Oliver describes this release as “deeply personal… my proudest work to date”.
