I’ve just listened to this set I recorded back on the 28th of August 1994. This is before computers, mp3, music analysing software for mixing in key etc.etc. Just 2 Technics Sl1200 turntables and a knackered Gemini 2 channel scrath mixer and me and my musical ear. This is of a good standard for vinyl as I was very very self critical and always prided myself on the standard of my beat mixing and I still do!..

Here’s a link to a 1992 to 1995 Hacienda live stream I broadcasted in April 22. Loads of US garage tunes on here from a time I remember fondly. This is my latest set. It’s proper old Skool 90’s hardcore. Lasting just over 4 hours it builds from 124 bpm to above 136 bpm. I uploaded yesterday and it went straight into 48th in the Early Hardcore Charts on Mixcloud.. I can’t stop listening to it - it rocks !

I decided to do new mix when I got home from work last night. This is the superb result - just over 3 hours - it really rocks. If you don’t listen to all of my mixes then this is one to listen to. Starting around 118 bpm it gets into the grove from the start- loads of great new, edits and remixes on here as well as some classics……

This Mix really does rock. Some Great new tunes, remixes and re-edits on here. It was time to unleash some of the new tunes Ive been sourcing. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I did doing it. When life is hard and I'm down a mix and loosing myself in the music really does help me forget...

I’ve just read the sad news that Jason Kaye - one half of the duo Top Buzz has died. Great talent lost too soon always played different tunes to everyone else. I’ve seen him play with MC Mad P as Top Buzz many times ( with Mikey B back in the day too). Gutted.. Heaven has certainly got some DJ line up up there with all of the talent lost in the last few years …. My thoughts are with his friends and family at this time…

As many of you may know I have suffered with my mental health since my early 20’s. I accept that I have Bipolar Disorder and have taken medication since my first diagnosis when I was around 20. When I saw that Mind we’re doing ‘Stream for Mind ‘fundraising - I thought I should help. Music has always and will always be a major part of my life and is a major coping mechanism for when I need a lift. As you all know I have been streaming all through lock down and the deep dark days of Covid. Now is the time to ask you my listeners to come together and sponsor me for a series of streams in March. My goal is £500.00 so let’s see what we can do. Mental health is a silent killer and I count myself as one of the lucky ones to still be here…. The recording of my 5 Hour live stream on the 28.01.2023 starts around 112 BPM and builds to around 129 BPM. The set contains classic 70's Disco, Disco re-edits, 80's Pop, Soulful House and much more. There are some fantastic re-edits on here from DJ/Producers such as Dimitri from Paris, John Morales, Chewy Rubs, Dave Lee, Shep Pettibone, Ken@Work, Louie Vega, Reel People, Leroy Burgess, Cerrone Remixed and loads more.
