Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I am closing down my little side business for good. It's been two years since I started. Within my first 18 months I was fully booked and I have attended events like birthdays, christenings, christmas fairs, school fairs, easter fairs etc.

Thank you so much for every single person who has booked me, reviewed me, recommended me or just simply interacted with my page. I appreciate it all.

I will be messaging any remaining bookings for the year and refunding any deposits paid, back.

Thank you so much for everything, it's been an absolute blast but it was never meant to be anything more than a temporary side hustle and I now feel like I've taken it as far as I possibly can.

18 months ago I started my little side business and I'm so proud of the bookings I've taken and the things that I've done. So thank you to new customers, existing customers and those who have recommended/enquired with me. Every single thing helps. You're all amazing.

I've done some fab events over the last couple of weeks, however, this weekend just gone I was booked to Facepaint at my full time job at the pre-school graduation! This was a fab experience, the atmosphere was great. The manager and deputy manager even got involved too.

I've taken a good amount of bookings since coming back and even offering added extras now!

Today I went to a Harry Potter themed birthday party. Unfortunately I was SO busy that I didn't get to take any pictures, but here's some Harry Potter designs I'd practiced on my very wonderful/patient husband. ⚡

🎨ANNOUNCEMENT PLEASE READ🎨

For the foreseeable I am not taking anymore bookings. I am very fortunate that I have become quite booked up between now and summer and so those bookings WILL STAY THE SAME.

I am just not taking on any new bookings. I am working full time, have two children and I am now also going back to studying part time, for this reason I am putting Facepainting on hold until I have completed my qualification as I need to prioritise my main career aims and goals.

The support I have been given is incredible and I’ll definitely be taking more bookings once I’ve finished my studies. So thank you all for the love and support.

As mentioned above, all bookings that are already in place will go ahead.

6 months ago I decided to take a big step and set up my little Facepainting business. I started out by offering my services for free as a way of getting my name out there. Since January I have started charging and I’m not gonna lie, I was scared when I began charging as I honestly thought people were only booking me because I was free. But today, I have hit 400 followers on here. I’m fully booked for the rest of this month and I have limited availability in the months from now until July.

I am also SO proud to announce that over the last week I have been approached by 4 other entertainment companies and venues asking me to be an official supplier for them and their events.

Considering that finding out I was good at Facepainting was an absolute fluke and it’s just something I used to do for my daughter to pass time on a Sunday afternoon, I am SO bloody proud of myself. I never thought that I’d be able to have the balls to start my own little side business, let alone it be an absolute success.

So THANK YOU, to all of you who have supported me, recommended me, tagged me, booked me and shared/liked my posts in the last 6 months. Knowing that you all think I’m good enough to do this means the absolute world.
