It's been incredibly busy in the kitchen at Les Quennevais School these past few days as we prepare for Mrs. Hague's leaving party tomorrow. Our dedicated team has been working very hard, and we're proud to say we've prepared 800 portions of lasagne, led by the unstoppable machine that is Gianni!

This upcoming event is a bittersweet celebration for all of us. While we are excited to honour Mrs. Hague and celebrate her incredible contributions to the school, we also feel the huge sadness of her departure to pastures new.

We are committed to making this a memorable event for Mrs. Hague. Every dish has been prepared with love and gratitude for everything she has done, not only for the school but also for welcoming our Flourish team with open arms and making us all feel an integral part of their very special community.

See you all tomorrow for a day filled with joy, reflection, and fab food!

We are deeply honoured that Les Quennevais School has recognised and rewarded our fantastic Flourish Jersey Team. Serving your wonderful staff and students is always a true pleasure.

A special thanks to Mrs. Hague, whose leadership and dedication have been inspirational. We will all greatly miss her when she leaves for pastures new in a few week's time.

Featuring yesterdays lunch: Lemon & Thyme Roast Chicken! Absolutely bursting with flavour thanks to chef Salim's overnight marinade for extra succulence. For dessert, we served Victoria Sponge / Shortbread, both perfectly baked and utterly delicious.

No wonder the boys at Victoria College, Jersey devoured it.

🌟 Big shoutout to our incredible team at Flourish! Despite the challenges of staff absences due to winter sickness, especially being two down in our central kitchen, we managed to serve nutritious and tasty meals to children in 6 primary schools across Jersey - with smiles!

Well done to all our Secondary School colleagues and our key suppliers who despite some very poor weather and resulting transport problems knocked our first day back at school right out of the park with some delicious char-grilled style chicken burgers, potato bites and salad. A great new tasty addition to our menus 😊

Hundreds of roasties, chipolatas, Yorkshire puddings, slices of turkey not to mention an assortment of delicious Festive bakes later and a lot of happy pupils and staff. Well done everyone.
