Ruddaz exploded onto the scene in the 90’s during the golden age of rave, starting off in a Dereham nightclub before becoming a fixture at underground parties with Dilemma Productions. His high-energy mixing and love for big-room dance music soon made him a regular at the Mr. Pitts’ parties, spinning alongside top DJs from across East Anglia.
By the late '90s, Ruddaz was deep in the heart of the Trance movement, holding down residencies with Little Miss Productions and the legendary Pam’s House. His name lit up lineups at iconic Norwich venues like Ritzy’s, Time (Lava & Ignite), and the iconic Lockstock.
The introduction of CDJ’s in the 2000s unlocked new creative heights. Live mashups and precision remixes became his trademark, earning him sets alongside giants like Paul Oakenfold, Eddie Halliwell, and Judge Jules.
In 2008, Ruddaz took Ibiza by storm playing at Es Paradis, Eden, and buzzing West End clubs, and his momentum peaked in 2012 when he won the BPM Freestyle DJ Competition at Birmingham’s NEC, outshining global talent with his explosive live routines.
Ruddaz draws deep inspiration from the pioneers who shaped the sound of a generation. Artists like Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, and Utah Saints whose euphoric melodies and driving energy defined a golden age of dance music. Blending these influences with the raw emotion of 90s synth-driven anthems, Ruddaz has carved out a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking. It’s this fusion of classic trance roots and high-octane performance that gives his sets their unmistakable edge.
Now a respected producer, Ruddaz has released his vision of trance on world-class labels including Armada, A State of Trance, and FSOE. His remix of Coast 2 Coast’s ‘Home’ has racked up over 1.5 million streams, cementing his place in the global trance scene.
With decades behind the decks and no signs of slowing, Ruddaz continues to evolve, driven by passion, fuelled by the crowd, and always ready to drop the unexpected.
