Chantel Ford has a deep passion for classic trance, a genre that has been a part of her life for over 25 years. Regularly attending iconic events like Goodgreef, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, and immersing herself in the vibrant Ibiza Trance scene at Cream and Judgement Sundays in the mid-2000s, she has cultivated a rich connection to the dance music world.

Her love for music is all-encompassing, but it’s trance — especially progressive & vocal —that has always held a special place in her heart. After years of being a devoted fan and dancefloor lover, 2024 marked the year she finally took the plunge to learn the art of mixing.

With a huge passion and a deep knowledge of trance history, she quickly established herself in the DJ scene, winning various competitions this year that led to exciting opportunities with respected brands such as Evolve Rising Stars, Small Trees & Limitless and Temple of Trance, offering her a platform to share her passion with the world.

Her mixes, a blend of old-school trance classics and fresh, progressive vibes, have been met with incredible response since she began sharing them on SoundCloud in June 2024.

She has a particular affinity for rediscovering lost trance gems and is on a mission to share her passion for this, taking listeners on a journey through its evolution while ensuring the classics never fade away. Keep an eye out for her performances and unique mixes — she’s just getting started!

The colour red is associated with love, passion, energy, life force, courage & strength, and represents a connection to the source of life itself and black cause hey we all look good in black! ❤️🖤

The theme is completely optional so feel free to wear every colour of the rainbow if red or black is not your thing! 🌈

Glenn Hands ‘Hard House' closing set from Reminiscence - The Private Party on 17th January 2025.

We had technical issues with some of the recordings but Glenn kindly agreed to re-record his set. He doesn’t have the means to record vinyl so a couple of tracks have been taken out and replaced with a few extras that he didn’t get the chance to play on the night. It’s an absolute banger – enjoy!

BOOM! Our final stage announcements are here: Reminiscence is thrilled to be hosting a stage at Timescape Festival 2025! We’ll be kicking off the party around 2PM on Friday, July 18, so make sure you book the day off—trust us, you won’t want to miss this.

Expect epic trance vibes on our stage, plus plenty of house and techno across the three-day extravaganza. If you’ve been to a Reminiscence event before, you already know we bring the goods. If not, get ready for a serious treat!

Huge thanks to Peach and Weekender Events for this amazing opportunity. We can’t wait to reveal the lineup and show you what we’ve got in store.

YOLO Events (run by Darren Shambhala) will also be joining us, hosting the second stage on Friday bringing that extra special tech energy to Timescape.

RIP Jon Guthrie! Another legend is now with the angels. Jon Angel was a big deal in the hardcore scene but he also had a passion for trance. He cancelled his gig with us in July 2023 due to illness and we had to cancel the June 2024 event he was meant to play at. Here are the promo mixes he did for us. Jon will forever live on through his music!🙏🩷🙏

Drum roll please! We raised a total of £620 in donations and £38 from the sale of wristbands which means the deck can now be paid off in full. This is absolutely mind blowing and definitely exceeded our expectations. A huge thanks to everyone that donated or bought a wristband – we can’t thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. Cor blimey you lot were absolutely amazing at Reminiscence - The Private Party last night. Every one of the DJ’s played their hearts out and kept the dance floor jumping from start to finish. This is probably one of our favourite events to date! 🥰

Andrew Lord, Kevin Horth, Asysis, Danny Hardwax, Dan Walker and Glenn David Hands – You should be VERY proud of yourselves - you truly delivered the good last night and we are extremely grateful to you for giving us your time free of cost so that we could raise money for our Technics Mk 2 (which is now paid for in full thanks to the donations). 😍

What a wonderful crowd we had in last night - you did yourselves and us proud. What an incredible bunch of humans you are! 🥰 We love you so much! 😍

As you know it’s a free event tomorrow but if you would like to contribute, please feel free to do so. We will be accepting donations on the door (cash & card) to go towards a Technics 1210 Mk 2 turntable that we have just bought and will be using, tomorrow and at our other vinyl nights! Yay!😍

Last year we raised enough at the Private Party to pay for the DJ table so we already know that you are a generous bunch. We are also aware that many of us are absolutely skint this time of year and there is absolutely no obligation to donate whatsoever but if you would like to support us, it will be definitely be appreciated. 😍
