Three world-class musicians - Natalia Lomeiko (violin), Yuri Zhislin (viola) and Sarah Watkins (piano) - will present their only Auckland concert in Mt Eden on Saturday 13 April. They will perform romantic repertoire by Brahms and his dear friends Clara and Robert Schumann, juxtaposed by the evocative colourings and fireworks of Szymanowski, and Shostakovich’s charming 5 pieces for violin, viola and piano.

A rare chance to hear six outstanding Wellington musicians in a beautiful programme of Mozart and Brahms.
This unique collaboration of players includes Simeon Broom and Jessica Oddie (violins), Alex McFarlane and Monique Lapins (violas), and Matthias Balzat and Ken Ichinose (cellos). Simeon is the artistic director of our Chamber Music Festival (coming up in September).
A donation from ticket sales will be made to the Karekare Cyclone Relief Fund.

Mt Eden musician Montgomery is a singer/ songwriter and emerging talent on the Auckland music scene with a couple of singles under his belt, including the highly praised "Wasteland". Supporting emerging artists - singer/songwriter Montgomery grew up in Mt Eden and graduated from the Auckland University School of Music in 2020. He has released two singles with his indie alt-rock sound, including "Wasteland" which received great reviews from NZ music magazines. He will be performing some of his original songs at the Pah Homestead this Friday at midday for an hour of free live music in their Music at Midday Spring Series.
