We are still alive and kicking 🍕 it’s safe to say the past two years have given us a lot of perspective of where we want our lil family pizza biz to go. Either way, we are solely catering right now and have opened books for 2025.

We are deeply saddened and at a loss for words. Our community is in shambles. Everything you see on the news and social media is true. We are okay and the family has evacuated indefinitely. I will be coming back up today to bring supplies to our neighbors and begin restoring our property.

It is with greatest pleasure we introduce for the very first time: Napolachian Pizza Co.! 🍕 ⛰

Bringing Napoli to Appalachia is our first and foremost goal. We believe in staying true to the art of Neopolitan pizza and with this new name and logo, we are doing just that. Oh, and slinging out fresh pies out of our wood-fired mobile oven imported from Moderna, Italy doesn’t hurt either! 😉

If you’re seeing this and thinking, “I don’t remember following these guys,” we used to be Pizza Daddy AVL. Last summer, we received a letter that we legally couldn’t use that name anymore. As heartbroken as we were, the sudden news gave us a wake up call. Here we were, being presented a new season of life on a shiny silver platter, and we had to reevaluate our morals and goals—where we wanted to go with our little pizza biz.

The logo: designed by our longtime best friend and extremely talented , we brought together the idea of meshing our famous Blue Ridge Mountains with the even-more-famous Mt. Vesuvius, located in Naples, Italy. Placing the scenery in a brick border that strongly resembles the opening of our oven shows our desire to bring you the best Neopolitan pizza right here at home in our quaint corner of the US.

1) We are {finally} in the beginning stages of creating our new brand AND new name 🤐 We can’t wait to share it with you in the new year!!!

To our most loyal supporters:

When we first began Pizza Daddy back in 2021, the name was initially a funny joke that Taylor made, but it ended up sticking and becoming a name to know here in Asheville. With it, we cemented our identities as a pizza family with Pizza Mama, Pizza Kid, and now another Pizza Baby. It’s a name that helped start a new journey for us and create connections with people all over the country.

As you may have noticed, we have removed our logo from all of our social media and our website. It was brought to our attention that a pizza restaurant in another state has owned the same name since 2011 and therefore, we must discontinue the use of the name “Pizza Daddy.” This came as a huge shock to us, but we understand and we must comply immediately.

With that being said, we are re-branding, being both sudden and exciting for us. We are keeping all of our current events on the calendar, we are still taking inquiries, we are going to be the same pizza biz you have known and loved the last two years. Just a new name coming soon! (Current one is temporary)

Now, to figure out a new name! 😅

Today marks 2 years of Pizza Daddy. These photos are from our first time serving our pizza ever at the . We sold out that day!!!!!

Since then, we have served at several markets around town, weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, and private events! And that’s all thanks to your support and love. Keep us in mind for your next need for catering 🍕

Hey, hey! We are revving up for a season of catering gigs! Super excited for what we have booked so far. Some dates are still available for summer, so hmu (is that what the kids say these days?) for your private event!

Due to our current family of small children, we aren’t able to take on farmer markets, but can totally hire babysitters to help out at weddings, reunions, gatherings, birthdays, etc.!

We are approved to serve at the Uncommon Holiday Market this coming Sunday (12/11) from 10-4! To say we are excited to finally be able to serve after a long hiatus is an understatement 🍕

Fine print: weather permitting, of course! So pray for gray clouds, not rain. ☁️

It’s Ethan's birthday! Take a moment and show him some love below!!

And for a quick explanation to the question: where have we been? The short answer: our commissary kitchen we had been renting closed suddenly this past summer (they sold their business). In the meantime, between trying to find another and juggling our personal lives with Pizza Kid and another Pizza Baby on the way, we felt it was best for us to take a step back from regular markets to focus on upcoming big life changes.

But! There is some good news. While we are shifting from a regular market schedule to more of a solely catering model, that doesn’t mean you won’t be seeing us around whatsoever. We just have to limit how much we take on while we are navigating our personal decisions. So, we may pop up from time to time, or be serving at your next local wedding.

We thank you for your support always. Be on the look out for big news in 2023 that we’re not quite ready to share just yet. Big things on the horizon!
