Our last wedding of the season was on December 7th, it was slowly snowing outside and the room was filled with the scent of fresh pine. There were candles everywhere, and there were beautiful touches of velvet, chiffon and stone. Every detail was perfectly executed by .

Our last wedding of the season was on December 7th. It was slowly snowing outside, the room was filled with the scent of fresh pine, there were candles everywhere, and there were touches of velvet, chiffon and stone. Every detail was perfectly executed by .

Part 2.
For the reception we converted the "Manduppha" (see previous post for explanation), into two separate arches, one used here behind the head table, and the other was used as a photobooth. All the aisle pieces were moved to line the iconic steps at the Isabel Bader Centre and the large arrangements that flanked the Manduppha were used in front of the head table. Another example of repurposing ceremony items at the reception!

Carnation garlands forever and ever please!
This wedding was a joy to work on. A marriage of two cultures, Jewish and Hindu, both were represented in such beautiful ways. Our rental structure was used as a combination of a Chuppah, (for Jewish ceremonies) and a Mandap, (for Hindu ceremonies). We lovingly dubbed it a Manduppha. All guests wore traditional Indian attire and yamakas for the ceremony. The floral Malas the bride and groom wore were my favorite to make. They are placed on each other's necks during the ceremony and represent love, respect, commitment, and the couple's acceptance into each other's families.
Soon I'll share photos of their reception which includes a wardrobe change, and the Manduppha being used in a completely different way!

I used to be a really big snob about Calla Lilies. I found them too opulent and stuffy. Falling in love with something that's always been an option is a pretty great feeling. Sometimes it's just the best to find out you were wrong.

Hiya friends!
I have been massively M.I.A. this past while. We had 14 weddings in 8 weeks! Our last one of that stretch was on the 2nd of November. 😮‍💨🥳
We also just bought our first home and are in the process of renovations and preparing to move in the next week. Things have been wonderfully, chaotically busy.
Our last wedding of the season is December 7th. Stay tuned!

September and October are the busiest wedding months, and boy oh boy, we are in the thick of it. I didn't even realize it was already officially fall!
