We're back, baby...and with a baby! In September we welcomed the newest member of the 1105 Events family, a healthy baby girl named Kate. While we wish we could soak up new baby cuddles 24/7, there's work to do and events to plan and coordinate. We're excited to hop back into things and are now accepting new bookings for events in 2024. It's good to be back!

⭐Announcement⭐
Hello friends! As many of you already know, my husband and I are super excited to be expecting our first kiddo, a baby girl, very soon.
To those who didn't know... surprise! This is why I've been super quiet around these parts while I've balanced pregnancy with business and making sure our client needs were met first.
While our original due date was mid-October, a recent diagnosis of cholestasis/ICP and the amount of doc appointments required to manage it (along with pretty intense symptoms) have moved up our delivery timeline pretty significantly. The good news is this disease is temporary/limited to pregnancy and should go away shortly after delivery.
🚨I'll now be starting maternity leave on Monday, September 4th 🚨(ironically, the "Labor" Day holiday).
We won't be taking on any more weddings for the remainder of 2023, but will still be taking inquiries via the Contact page of our website (link in bio) for January 2024 and beyond - we just ask for a little patience as we respond to those inquiries as quickly as we can while balancing new parenthood! We are so excited at the idea of helping more couples in 2024 so please don't hesitate to reach out 😁
To our Fall 2023 and 2024 full/partial planning package couples, you should've already heard from me about coverage plans and which of my awesome assistants will be helping you while I'm offline. To all other 2024 couples, please email us with any needs and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!

Oh BABY, we're back! We've taken a bit of a social media hiatus to focus on spring weddings, building our team, and perfecting our processes and tools for our couples to use. But we're back and better than ever! We've got a couple more weddings up our sleeve in the next month or so - keep an eye on our stories for some behind the scenes magic!

There are a lot of planners and day of coordinators out there. So why should you pick us over other services?
1. We work with all budgets. Many planners or day of coordinators have budget minimums, but we work with anyone!
2. RSVP management and hotel block coordination are included in our planning packages. Most planners don't offer these services that can often take up hours of couples' time.
3. We go beyond planning weddings. Need someone to manage your bridal shower, too? We got you! We'll also plan your honeymoon! Just ask about adding this on to a wedding package and we'll give you all of the details!
4. We won't push you in the direction of trends or what is "expected" - in fact, we'll do the opposite! We want your event to reflect you and within your budget. Let's do something off the wall and make it all about you.

Prediction for 2023: Faux and dried florals are in. The cost of florals and greenery have skyrocketed in the last year. Fortunately, high quality alternatives are popping up everywhere - even traditional florists are turning to reusable decor. Bonus points since you can resell for couples to use!

Shameless fans of minimal decor ✋
Huge centerpieces that block your view, charger plates that just take up room, and having thousands of candles aren't necessary for a perfect event. If you want those, of course we'll make it happen (within budget, of course), but we're fans of going all out on foods, drinks, and purchases that will make your event easier and more fun for you and your guests.

It's me, hi 👋 I'm the [planner], it's me. Yep that's me - I'm Ali Stewart, the founder and lead event planner at 1105 Events. A few fun facts about me:
✈️ I've been to 32 countries and counting - 10 of those solo!
🎰 I flew to Vegas in 2017 with the sole purpose of meeting the Backstreet Boys, and was successful! 🎸I'm a strong believer in using some good 90s music to bring up the energy.
🏡 I grew up in the Atlanta area and have lived here most of my life (but took a detour to Austin for a couple years after college).
💻I have spreadsheets for absolutely everything, from personal finances to Christmas gifts.
👩🎓I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in business administration and have a corporate background in operations and project management.
