It’s time to face facts. The one thing that I won’t do in my small biz marketing? Is this ⬇️

❌ Rely on social media as my only marketing tool.

Here’s the thing. I completely understand the temptation to put ALL your efforts into what seems to be a platform that is really high return on investment.

Trust me, I get it.

But in all honesty – it’s this exact thing you need to STOP doing.

Why?

Because we do not control social media platforms!

One day the algorithm can play for you, the next against you. And worse, what happens if the platform disappears tomorrow altogether?! I mean, we saw that first hand with Tik Tok last week!

Sure it’s beneficial – but only in conjunction with OTHER marketing activities like email marketing or networking.

I believe in setting the example and practicing what I preach.

So it’s for the above reasons that I don’t do this.

How we planned and created ALL our content for January. Yepp. We have everything ready for this month to be posted!

This month we finished planning and creating all our content for the month and let me tell you, it was a process.

There was a lot of time involved for sure.

👉🏼 Like, we wrote out all our captions first.

👉🏼 And then on another day, we created all our visuals.

And did you know you need to sometimes make an appointment with yourself to get your socials done?

Yes, we seriously do that!

And truth bomb coming. We moved our appointment ALOT in December.

😳 We chose client work over our socials.
😳 We definitely told ourselves “we’ll just do it tomorrow.”

But let us tell you, at some point you have to be real with yourself and sit down to work on your socials if that is a goal of yours.

A look back at 2024! 🫶🏼 A healthy work life balance was important to me this year & I think we nailed it. We continued to grow & try out new things while also getting to enjoy the little moments & trips.

Health was a big part of my 2024 mindset! So, getting to work with two amazing women who have had transformational health journeys themselves was so great!

They have started a new health clinic in Ashville & we had the opportunity to develop their visual branding through design & photography!

They wanted to showcase their office space after putting so much time and energy into it as well as developing a brand that represented their natural approach to health! 🌿🩺
