I am looking for volunteers for Halloween night to help. I have several job openings that night. 16+ Must be responsible and able to talk to the public and give direction with good customer service. Food and water provided. 7pm-9pm

Dinosaur Wranglers/Trainers: ensure the safety of both Dinosaurs and guests. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, best with khakis and a Jurassic Park shirt, so guests know you are there to assist (shirts sold at Five Below for $5.55 if you want one). Help hand out treats to guests.

Full body puppeteer: puppet the raptor or T-Rex. Training provided. Wear comfortable shoes (no Crocs), athletic moisture wicking clothes. We will cycle through the puppeteers to ensure you are comfortable and not overheating. Sets are no more than 30 minutes and you decide when you need a break. If you need a break at 10 minutes, you take a break. These are full body costumes that can get hot so your health and safety is #1.

Baby dino puppeteer: these are handheld hidden hand puppets. Training provided. Wear comfortable shoes and similar clothes to dino wranglers

It's that time of year again! I can afford most everything I want but I never feel like I have enough treats to hand out! If you would like to donate a bag of treats for the kids, I would so appreciate it! Stickers, candy, tattoos, toys, and more are on the list! Many under $10!

The entire Jurassic Park comes out of my own pocket and donations. I don't charge anything for families to attend and get treats!

We had a RAWR-SOME time with Children with Diabetes Friends for Life Children with Diabetes Conference at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort yesterday and today! Thank you Sanofi US for hosting us at your booth! We met your wonderful team and so many amazing families!!

Fern, our baby blue Protoceratops, got to meet so many other dinosaurs from other wonderful places!

To celebrate Black History Month, let me introduce you to Louis R. Purnell, the First African American Paleontologist according to the Smithsonian.🦖

His amazing career began as a Tuskegee Airman and his interest in Geology & Paleontology led him on a path to be the First African American Curator of the Smithsonian’s National Air & Space Museum in 1980. 🛩️

It really captures just why we do what we do! This brave little dinosaur wrangler walked right up to Indigo, no fear. And the wonderment in his eyes really melted Indigo's heart. We know she can be a little scary sometimes and to some kids, but when we can make these connections, it means the absolute world to us. This is why we do what we do. This is magic.

Just a reminder to be kind to everyone this Halloween. 👻🎃

Be kind to the child who can’t say “trick or treat”.

Be kind to the adult in a Superman costume.

Be kind to the little girl who doesn’t say “thank you”.

Be kind to the child who doesn’t understand he’s not supposed to go inside your house.

Be kind to the child who’s not wearing a costume.

Be kind to the little boy who speaks very loudly.

While you may think these behaviors are due to rudeness, often they’re caused by an invisible disability or simply shyness.

To put it into perspective, Halloween is one day a year. You get to make many kids and adults happy just by giving a few pieces of candy. I say that’s a pretty good deal 😊👻🎃

Today we had the pleasure of visiting Rymfire Elementary School and visiting with two ESE classes with Fern, our baby Protoceratops! We had such a wonderful time meeting all the kids and hard working teachers and assistants! 🌈

Fern is such a wonderful addition to our team because she is quiet and doesn't move as fast or seem as scary like Indigo can be! Fern has wonderful textures on her skin and can have gentle interactions with kids who may find Indigo to be overwhelming. 🦕

We look forward to working with more of our wonderful local autistic community in these outreach events! 💜

Fern our new baby Protoceratops arrived safe and healthy! She passed her wellness checkup with flying colors and fully vaccinated! She will be out meeting people tomorrow at Shores Animal Hospital open house! It is a free family event! Come out for food, entertainment and tours of the veterinarian hospital! 11AM-2PM! 🥳
