Hey everyone!! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Years!
Part of my New Year’s resolution is to get rid of some of my inventory since I am no longer doing installs. I will be posting occasionally with inventory here and then after a week they will be listed on my Etsy where I normally sell my overstock. (Definitely cheaper here!).
Please let any one know that is looking for Balloons either personally or for their business!

That’s a wrap!
In case you missed my live(nothing special, I was driving and tired and not sure if I even made sense.) I installed my final set up today.
This weekend was always going to be my unofficial/official stop date. While I have loved creating for so many, it is now time for me to stop.
Between hundreds of sets ups and dozens of homecoming mums there has been very little quality time with my family and my home.
I will still be active in community events such as charity sponsorships but it will be more so to market our construction company Seale Construction and give back to our fabulous community.
Thank you again for your support and business over the last 3 years and if you ever need a balloon recommendation please feel free to reach out as we have several amazing balloon artist locally.
From here on out my balloon/homecoming mum skills are reserved for my family.

🎈 *Long post warning* 🎈
I posted a week or so ago that I will not be taking anymore bookings because I have so many right now. This is an update to that post.
This has been a long time coming. I have been blessed to literally been busy since day one. SO INCREDIBLY BUSY! I am noticing more and more that while I am helping families create memories… I have been missing out on memories made with my own family.
By its nature, this business is mostly a Thurs-Sunday, almost 24hrs on some of those days depending on how many and how big the setups are…. Saturday and Sundays are our only chance to be completely together and although I have had nothing but support, the very people I want to give my everything to often get very little if any of me anymore.
This is not a pity party as I have made new friends and so many wonderful connections in this community which I would have never been able to do without my business and it’s success.
Although I do have bookings all the way until October, you will start to see less of GF and Wild. This is by design. As of now I do not plan to take any new clients. I will most likely still serve HISD and SHSU due to vendor status but if they were to find new vendors I will gladly bow out of those markets as well.
Current/frequent clients, I will now have incredibly limited availability and only Mon-Thur while my kids are at school. They have been troopers throughout this whole adventure and often try to help pump balloons so I can be finished faster… my kids shouldn’t have to compete with balloons for my time.
These are all choices I have made and I am owning them but I am now making the conscious effort to give them everything I can, while I can.
My oldest is almost 12 and I need these next 6 years while she is still under my roof to be full of memories that will last a lifetime. And it’s about to get busier as we get into Jr.High and High School.
To my current bookings… don’t worry about quality. I plan on rocking out these last bookings and adding as much as I can if time and space allows. I was talking to my BFF today about this decision and “GO BIG OR GO HOME” was brought up. I plan to do both lol. I will go BIG and then GO HOME.
I used to be a runner.. like every other weekend you could find me early morning running a half marathon somewhere and then home by lunch. The last few races my husband even ran with me. I am ready to have that back.. and I’m pretty sure my daughter can hang now as well.

Chamber friends, I’m not going anywhere as I will now have more of a role in our Family Owned Construction business. As busy as my husband is, he always makes sure my balloon business needs are met and it’s time to help lighten his load. While I won’t be out in the field(thank goodness, right), I will be able to take conference calls, ordering, scheduling, etc. This will allow me to help him but also be very available to our children. I plan on joining our company to the Chamber in the next week or so and will be able to represent it as well. He has wanted to come himself for months but he starts work so early he is unable to leave to attend morning gatherings.

Hit the ground RUNNING (literally) the first day back from our Easter weekend. First Financial Huntsville hosted an amazing VIP event on Tuesday and GF&Wild had the honor of ballooning!!
And Alpha-Lit Bryan/College Station always comes through with their show stopping letters!!!!! Thanks for being awesome!

Registration will open at 1 for those that want to participate in the math and spelling part of the event! Math and spelling for ages 1st grade - 8th grade.

Had the privilege to balloon for the Widows Christmas Dinner put together by Adriane Hunter. Such a beautiful evening and I was so blessed to be a small part! Also, thank you to Leah Lineback with Sweet Karoline’s Floral Shop for taking them down to Five Loaves and putting them in place! Team work makes the dream work!

Working with Sweet Karoline’s Floral Shop is always a neat experience. We definitely had a different idea planned for the florals but something just didn’t match the vision. She completely reworked her beautiful arrangement (ON THE SPOT)into these smaller pops of orange to put throughout the garland and it was just perfect. A HUGE congratulations to VeraBank on their Grand Reopening! Tons of people came to show support and it was much deserved! Their new bank is beautiful and inviting and they even found such a special way to bring the history of the old bank into the new with such class. We were honored to balloon (and flower) around the old door casing to the former building that is on permanent display at the new bank. They filled the inside with an incredible collage of pictures from the past. Go check it out sometime!

Just a few of our more recent set ups and pick ups. We are still learning everyday and want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone that continues to trust us to balloon your visions. Never in a million years did I think I would trade my teaching career for this, but here we are…. All I can say is you’re never too old to learn something new.
If y’all drive through our downtown area you may catch a glimpse of a ”few” balloons. We LOVE when local businesses trust us bring a little school spirit to their spaces! Downtown has some really great local finds, from antiques, spa treatments to these two really great shops as well! Deja Vu has some really awesome furniture finds, we even saw this table that is made with electricity and it looks like lightning bolts burned into the top. It’s truly beautiful and the artist literally risks his life to create every piece. Bargain Boxx and Simply Seconds has some amazing consignment finds with some really nice clothing options! I have found so many really nice name brand pieces of clothing for my kids! Go check them out and ALL of downtown!
Some of you may not know this but before I got in the balloon business, I LOVED to make Homecoming mums! A few of my return customers have had their child graduate so I will be available to make a limited few! Check this one out. This was for a Lufkin(my former home) 2022 senior. Senior homecoming colors for LISD are gold and white. It was as big as Texas…. Please contact me if interested, we can schedule an appointment time to meet to discuss details. Very limited availability. *Edit* I will be doing Lufkin mums for sure but would love to do a few for Huntsville students as well!*
Did something different today!! First time setting up at a Business Expo type thing. Thanks Huntsville Walker County Chamber of Commerce for hosting the New Business Showcase! Definitely a learning experience for me but it went really well! I brought the “party” to the expo! The best way to really take in our balloons is at an event, so I brought the event to the showcase! Let me tell you what you are looking at…. Of course a balloon column and a helium bouquet, premium paper goods and a beautiful arrangement by Sweet Karoline’s Floral Shop! We have collaborated to come up with something pretty special! It’s still in the works but be on the lookout for our new Sweet and Wild party package!! It’s a Floral workshop for five participants, balloon decor, custom cookies and coordinating premium paper goods! I can’t wait to launch this fun package! Perfect for birthdays, girls night or even bachelorette parties(maybe the first stop).
*Disclaimer*. Do NOT try this at home! I died laughing when I saw this!!! I set these up yesterday for a quinceañera and this is how they made it to their home in one piece! Just because the party is over at the venue doesn’t mean the party is over! No negativity y’all… The party was at a beautiful venue in the country not far from their home. This is great!!!

In store specials and first 100 customers get a free sausage wrap, I also heard there may or may not be some delicious cupcakes by Two Blondes and a Bakery there as well… might want to hurry in quick before both of those disappear.… Also to buy some of those fabulous cuts of meat and grocery items!
