Hey everyone!! Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Years!

Part of my New Year’s resolution is to get rid of some of my inventory since I am no longer doing installs. I will be posting occasionally with inventory here and then after a week they will be listed on my Etsy where I normally sell my overstock. (Definitely cheaper here!).

Please let any one know that is looking for Balloons either personally or for their business!

These will be for pick up or I can ship to you.

That’s a wrap!

In case you missed my live(nothing special, I was driving and tired and not sure if I even made sense.) I installed my final set up today.

This weekend was always going to be my unofficial/official stop date. While I have loved creating for so many, it is now time for me to stop.

Between hundreds of sets ups and dozens of homecoming mums there has been very little quality time with my family and my home.

I will still be active in community events such as charity sponsorships but it will be more so to market our construction company Seale Construction and give back to our fabulous community.

Thank you again for your support and business over the last 3 years and if you ever need a balloon recommendation please feel free to reach out as we have several amazing balloon artist locally.

From here on out my balloon/homecoming mum skills are reserved for my family.

🎈 *Long post warning* 🎈

I posted a week or so ago that I will not be taking anymore bookings because I have so many right now. This is an update to that post.

This has been a long time coming. I have been blessed to literally been busy since day one. SO INCREDIBLY BUSY! I am noticing more and more that while I am helping families create memories… I have been missing out on memories made with my own family.

By its nature, this business is mostly a Thurs-Sunday, almost 24hrs on some of those days depending on how many and how big the setups are…. Saturday and Sundays are our only chance to be completely together and although I have had nothing but support, the very people I want to give my everything to often get very little if any of me anymore.

This is not a pity party as I have made new friends and so many wonderful connections in this community which I would have never been able to do without my business and it’s success.

Although I do have bookings all the way until October, you will start to see less of GF and Wild. This is by design. As of now I do not plan to take any new clients. I will most likely still serve HISD and SHSU due to vendor status but if they were to find new vendors I will gladly bow out of those markets as well.
Current/frequent clients, I will now have incredibly limited availability and only Mon-Thur while my kids are at school. They have been troopers throughout this whole adventure and often try to help pump balloons so I can be finished faster… my kids shouldn’t have to compete with balloons for my time.

These are all choices I have made and I am owning them but I am now making the conscious effort to give them everything I can, while I can.

My oldest is almost 12 and I need these next 6 years while she is still under my roof to be full of memories that will last a lifetime. And it’s about to get busier as we get into Jr.High and High School.

To my current bookings… don’t worry about quality. I plan on rocking out these last bookings and adding as much as I can if time and space allows. I was talking to my BFF today about this decision and “GO BIG OR GO HOME” was brought up. I plan to do both lol. I will go BIG and then GO HOME.

I used to be a runner.. like every other weekend you could find me early morning running a half marathon somewhere and then home by lunch. The last few races my husband even ran with me. I am ready to have that back.. and I’m pretty sure my daughter can hang now as well.

Chamber friends, I’m not going anywhere as I will now have more of a role in our Family Owned Construction business. As busy as my husband is, he always makes sure my balloon business needs are met and it’s time to help lighten his load. While I won’t be out in the field(thank goodness, right), I will be able to take conference calls, ordering, scheduling, etc. This will allow me to help him but also be very available to our children. I plan on joining our company to the Chamber in the next week or so and will be able to represent it as well. He has wanted to come himself for months but he starts work so early he is unable to leave to attend morning gatherings.

Hit the ground RUNNING (literally) the first day back from our Easter weekend. First Financial Huntsville hosted an amazing VIP event on Tuesday and GF&Wild had the honor of ballooning!!

And Alpha-Lit Bryan/College Station always comes through with their show stopping letters!!!!! Thanks for being awesome!

Walker County Academic Rodeo is TODAY!!!! If you have not registered your child it’s not too late!!!

Registration will open at 1 for those that want to participate in the math and spelling part of the event! Math and spelling for ages 1st grade - 8th grade.

If you pre registered you can show up at 2pm!

The event will event officially starts at 2pm for the math, spelling, essay and craft project participants!!
