While not required, masquerade masks are highly encouraged at the ball, especially since you don't want to miss out on the Best Mask Award!

The beautiful Japanese Gardens in the Fort Worth Botanical Garden, just two miles from our event location- the Women's Club of Fort Worth.
In October, the flowers will take one final bloom before winter, making the gardens come alive in fall colors. Oxblood lilies, trumpet vines, and marigolds make for a beautiful backdrop for fall coordinates during the EGL Masquerade Ball weekend!

Due to several factors, we have decided to move our event date to October moving forward.

We hope that this event date will provide more comfortable weather for dancing, and is outside of convention season to make it less stressful for both our guests and our busy sponsors!

All tickets that have been purchased currently will still be valid for the updated event date, and if it is no longer possible for you to attend we will aid you in transferring your ticket to a new attendee.

The event will take place at the historic Woman’s Club of Fort Worth on Saturday, July 15th. The evening will include a full dinner, tea, and desserts with the main feature being lively historical dancing, so be sure to bring a comfortable pair of shoes! This year’s theme, ‘A Dance in Dracula’s Castle' lends itself to Gothic or Aristocrat, but so long as you are wearing lo**ta or ouji you are more than welcomed. While this is an EGL event, non-EGL partners are permitted to attend so long as they are in formal dress.

- Make a video post about your time at the EGL Masquerade Ball! (Try to make it at least 20 seconds, if you are off by a couple seconds don’t worry!)
- Tag us and make sure you let us know somewhere in the post, hashtags, or by sending the post to us in a DM that this is an entry for the contest!
- Entries close on the 24th at midnight CST
- 4 winners will be chosen & an announcement will be made by the end of the following day!
Posts that have already been made will still count, just let us know that you would like it to be counted as an entry!
However, if you have a private account we will not be able to see your post, so be sure we will be able to view it for your entry to count!
