🌍✨ Durham University WorldFest 2025 was a huge success! ✨🌍

We had the incredible opportunity to co-host this vibrant celebration with the Durham University International Students’ Association 🎉

We invited our Northeast-based chefs from Ethiopia, Japan, India, and the Caribbean to create a selection of delicious, culturally inspired dishes, including teriyaki chicken, injera, jerk chicken, and curries. The event also featured stalls with art, crafts, and cultural performances.

Last week, we had the pleasure of catering for the Foundervine Wray Winter Gathering at , serving delicious Caribbean food prepared by Chef Tyron.

Chef Tyron, founder of , is revolutionizing Jamaican street food with his vibrant approach. Featured in MyLondon as one of the UK’s best, Twerk‘N’Jerk started as Tyron‘s lockdown project and quickly grew into a popular brand with a permanent spot at Catford Mews Cinema. Tyron’s unique blend of Turkish Cypriot and Jamaican influences results in bold, imaginative dishes that celebrate cultural fusion.

Now, Tyron is collaborating with us, inviting food lovers to experience his diverse, inclusive flavors.

Chef Jen grew up working in her family’s Chinese takeaway in Birmingham, where she gained the skills and experience to create her own catering business, focusing on fresh ingredients and authentic flavours.

We recently had the opportunity to cater lunch for the North East Recycling Forum’s 35th Anniversary Annual Conference in Durham Town Hall! 🎊

🎃Yesterday, we had the pleasure of catering a Halloween party featuring a festive menu by Chef Doni :

On the menu, we had:

🧀Amputated Arm Cheese and Ham Roll: Cream cheese wrapped in Parma ham, shaped to resemble an “amputated arm” and served with crackers.

🎃Pumpkin Hummus Sliders: Mini buns filled with homemade pumpkin hummus, crispy falafel, fresh greens, and a hint of harissa.

🥑Pumpkin Guacamole: Served in a carved pumpkin with a side of nachos.

🍩Spooky Doughnuts: Classic glazed doughnuts decorated with ghostly powdered sugar faces.

🍹We also provided a selection of Halloween-inspired cocktails and mocktails!

We recently took a creative leap, exploring how to combine food, art, and unique spaces to foster meaningful connections.

Partnering with and , we co-hosted an intimate event where guests had the opportunity to meet talented artists .m.hargreaves, enjoy incredible Malaysian food made by , and engage in a beautiful, inspiring environment at high street house.

At the end of the event, we invited everyone to express their creativity by decorating a pandan cake made by .

Palettes & Palates was a fantastic evening filled with art, food, and great conversations—bringing together people with a shared passion for creativity and community. It was a space where friendships were sparked and collaborations were born.
