Last week, we had the pleasure of catering for the Foundervine Wray Winter Gathering at , serving delicious Caribbean food prepared by Chef Tyron.

Chef Tyron, founder of , is revolutionizing Jamaican street food with his vibrant approach. Featured in MyLondon as one of the UK’s best, Twerk‘N’Jerk started as Tyron‘s lockdown project and quickly grew into a popular brand with a permanent spot at Catford Mews Cinema. Tyron’s unique blend of Turkish Cypriot and Jamaican influences results in bold, imaginative dishes that celebrate cultural fusion.

Now, Tyron is collaborating with us, inviting food lovers to experience his diverse, inclusive flavors.

🎃Yesterday, we had the pleasure of catering a Halloween party featuring a festive menu by Chef Doni :

On the menu, we had:

🧀Amputated Arm Cheese and Ham Roll: Cream cheese wrapped in Parma ham, shaped to resemble an “amputated arm” and served with crackers.

🎃Pumpkin Hummus Sliders: Mini buns filled with homemade pumpkin hummus, crispy falafel, fresh greens, and a hint of harissa.

🥑Pumpkin Guacamole: Served in a carved pumpkin with a side of nachos.

🍩Spooky Doughnuts: Classic glazed doughnuts decorated with ghostly powdered sugar faces.

🍹We also provided a selection of Halloween-inspired cocktails and mocktails!

We recently took a creative leap, exploring how to combine food, art, and unique spaces to foster meaningful connections.

Partnering with and , we co-hosted an intimate event where guests had the opportunity to meet talented artists .m.hargreaves, enjoy incredible Malaysian food made by , and engage in a beautiful, inspiring environment at high street house.

At the end of the event, we invited everyone to express their creativity by decorating a pandan cake made by .

Palettes & Palates was a fantastic evening filled with art, food, and great conversations—bringing together people with a shared passion for creativity and community. It was a space where friendships were sparked and collaborations were born.

Earlier this year, we had the incredible honour of catering for during a special event where HRH Prince William visited their Jade Business Park headquarters to witness their groundbreaking work as a key net-zero innovation partner for the construction industry.

For this prestigious occasion, Chef Jasmin from impressed guests with a fully vegan spread inspired by her Bangladeshi heritage. The menu featured:

Chef Jasmin described the experience: “We have been working with Hey! Food is Ready for almost two years now, and we’ve grown together over that time! Building long-term relationships with our clients, while working hard to achieve our dreams, has been such a rewarding journey. Earlier this year, Yuru reached out to me regarding a VIP event, and we were thrilled to cater for such a prestigious occasion where Prince William was in attendance. ☺️ We were tasked with creating a full vegan spread, using eco-friendly props and packaging—we absolutely loved how it turned out, and it was loved by all the guests too!“

Last week, we had the honor of catering for the Durham University Entrepreneurs Network in conversation with the Durham University Venture Lab Advisory Board.

For this special occasion, we provided drinks and canapés for 90 guests, all prepared by amazing chefs from

We decided to elevate the menu this time, offering:

✨ Grilled courgette and avocado tostadas
✨ Peri peri chicken skewers with herb aioli
✨ Mini churros with cinnamon sugar and caramel dipping sauce

It was a full-circle moment, having the incredible opportunity to cater for the same community that supported us from day one. Back in 2021, when Hey! Food is Ready was just an idea, the Durham University Enterprise team helped us with our business plan and provided grant funding to kickstart the project.

Now, we proudly cater events for them—even when they visit London!

On 16th September, our investor Activate Studio is hosting an intimate gathering for us at St Ethelburga’s Centre, near Liverpool Street Station, London, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

This gathering is a unique opportunity for potential investors to meet and learn about Hey! Food is Ready as we embark on our seed round. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy delicious Brazilian and Syrian dishes prepared by our talented chefs.
