We are back with a Sunday party like when it all started!
You know that Ikigai’s specialty is to entertain you on Sundays, we always did it in summer outdoor parties but this time in a new edition we open the autumn season with a Sunday indoor afternoon party in collaboration with our friends from GoodBuzz, in a cozy place with quality soundsystem, reasonably priced drinks and good music, giving you the best option for those who don’t want to get bored on a Sunday and still want to dance, have fun and meet new people💥.

IKIGAI comes back to Copenhill, inviting for the first time in our events MARTINEZ.

Martin Swanstein, better known as Martinez, is a Swedish/Danish House Music & Techno DJ/Producer currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Nowadays, he is well known for his releases and remixes on his own label: Concealed Sounds, as well as Minibar, Lomidhigh, Aeternum, NervMusic, Cadenza, Oslo, Tied, Memoria and many more. Martinez first release, that kick started his carrier in 2000, was his “Laidback Grooves EP” on the notorious chicago based Deep-House label Guidance Recordings.

We make this special edition having one of the best terrace of Copenhagen city where we can appreciate the combination of the feeling that the view of the city from the top generates in us with the best music to dance the all afternoon.🤼

IKIGAI presents DJ Gamba, SHK and Colo for a new Sunday afternoon party at Byhaven on 16 June 2024.

On this occasion, DJ Gamba, coming straight from Barcelona, will be our headliner to heat your hips🛸.

DJ Gamba stepped up his game after producing his Infinity EP, later released by Barcelona label Cupula Recordings. For two years, it received support from some icons like tINI, Quest, Christian AB, Giammarco Orsini, and more🚀.

SHK and Colo, two of our residents who need no introduction, will be in charge of keeping the dance floor lit all afternoon.

Our episode 13 just came out from the oven 🚀.

Alex, aka Érratic, hails from Orléans in central France, where he has forged a remarkable career as a DJ and producer, specialising in Deep House and Minimal electronic music.

As a musician, Alex transitioned into the realm of hardware, embracing Dawless gear with a Roland-centric setup. His devotion to Roland's iconic sound is unmistakable, coupled with a penchant for 909 drums.

The last three years have seen him channel his creative energies into producing original tracks, gracing labels such as Symbiotical Records, Mole Records, Gliese Records, Fresh Take, DNAM, Worst Date Records… He thrives on collaborations with fellow artists, predominantly within the realms of Deep Tech House and Minimal genres.

Alex creatively crafts his sonic tapestries with intricate minor pads, dubby stabs, groovy basslines, and infectious housey chords. His compositions resonate with the spirit of legendary artists like Janeret, Frink, Dj Steaw, Kolter and iO (Mulen).

He will be performing in our next event the 25th of November at Pumpehuset🛸.

KIGAI Closing Season - 25th of November at Pumpehuset.
This time our headliner will be the one and only ALEXIA GLENSY 🌺

One of the youngest, yet most highly sought-after, rising talents of the current underground scene, Alexia Glensy, has proven time and time again that age is but a number. Not defined by a genre, Alexia’s sound is a multi-faceted journey of depth and emotion, a conversation between her audience and herself.

From Brazil to Lithuania, Uruguay to France, Switzerland to Spain, Alexia’s music has already taken her many corners of the world, playing at some of the most credible and highly respected venues and festivals like Fabric London, Wildeburg Festival, Hoppetosse, O***m Club, DC-10, the globally esteemed Awakenings Festival, and of course, her residency in Shelter, Amsterdam🛸

The opening of the night will be in charge of Alex, aka Érratic, hails from Orléans in central France, where he has forged a remarkable career as a DJ and producer, specialising in Deep House and Minimal electronic music.

The warm up for Alexia will be held by our resident Lowfek, an Argentine DJ and producer influenced by artists like Ricardo Villalobos and Rhadoo, who developed his music skills at Sonica school in Buenos Aires. Currently Lowfek has been performing in the nordic scene since he moved to Copenhagen back in the years where he has built his name by performing in the most important clubs and parties of the underground scene🚀

NCLS is an Argentinian Dj/Producer based in Denmark since 2019. 👾

He started DJing professionally in 2015, having the opportunity to play in some important clubs in Buenos Aires like Bahrein, Blow, Asia de Cuba, among others. 💿

He paved his way in Copenhagen by playing at illegal raves during the lockdown time, being able to make a debut at Culture Box the following year. Since then, he has developed a remarkable musical identity based on rhythmical patterns with a lot of heavy grooves and basses, acidic lines, and big kicks. He goes from Tekno to Elektro, mixed with hard grooves. 😈

We are very excited to have him with us playing at the Room. 🚀

Kevin Rivara aka Lowfek, is a DJ and producer from Hurlingham, Argentina. He was introduced into electronic music thanks to the influence of artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Rhadoo, Franco Cinelli & Funk-E. 🎧

In 2012, Kevin decided to have a professional formation as a musician, so he started to study in Sonica, a very well-known school of electronic music from Buenos Aires. Three years later, he was ready to make a raid into productions. His releases were very successful and launched by different labels such as Whoyostro, Innocent Music, Mood 24, Psicodelica, among many others, with support from Arapu and Luly.B. All this experience gave him the inspiration to develop his own DJ style, which combines Techno and Minimal sounds. 🚀

Since finding his own genre, Kevin has played in some of the most important local clubs such as Bahrein, Cocoliche and Bloody Sound, among many others. 🪩

Now, based in Copenhagen, he has played in Barcelona, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gothenburg in events with Vlad Arapasu, Ida Daugaard, Leanca and Chrivu among others. He has edited in Labels as Lowfek like Psyche Records, Saraw, The Aviary, Implimind and Fratii with a big support from artist like Vid, Costin RP, Dragutesku, Zenk & Herck. 🧨

Mark’s greatest ambition and passion is to create a framework in which people can get lost in the moment. The Dane calls it vibe architecture - using whatever tools available to intensify the feeling of the present moment by stimulating the senses. First and foremost the hearing🛸.

In 2015 Mark and a few of his closest friends founded YŪGEN in Denmark - a creative movement dedicated to creating a framework in which people collectively dive into the now. A concept that quickly grew into one of the most influential underground parties that Aarhus had seen in more than a decade. In order to vibrate higher and connect to a broader group of individuals, Mark moved to Berlin - being now one of the raw diamonds connecting the dots in the scene.
Bringing an experience of fifteen years, his storytelling of selecting and precisely blending the right frequencies at the right time is unique, delicate and always driven by the present. By doing this, he aims to create a deep connection between everyone in the room - a mission deeply rooted in his soul💥

IKIGAI Presents - Motopol - 30th September

Join us for an unforgettable night as we unite one of the major exponets of South American house music with the best names of the Danish techno scene 🧨

Jorge Savoretti is well known in the South American scene, he has been spinning records for more than 20 years. His passion for electronic music started in 1993 when he discovered dance music at underground raves in his hometown, Rosario, Argentina.

Savoretti has crossed many different bridges during the past years and has acquired a unique sense of versatility. He creates always a special atmosphere and is able to capture the attention of any dance floor from big festival stages to small underground clubs.

He is not only recognized for his DJ sets but as well for his productions. Besides running his own labels Savor Music and Musica Lunar which are highly acclaimed underground labels in Latin America; he released on labels such as Raum…Musik, Atipic, Visionquest, Infuse or Telegraph Records as well as Minus and Cadenza to just name a few.
