When’s the con? Is HNICon still happening? What’s going on?We’ve heard your questions and we’re excited to share that HNICon has not been cancelled! However, we have been faced with a tough decision to restructure HNIC: Carnival 2023 due to the flooding of our venue at the DELTA HOTEL. We appreciate your patience as we navigated through this ordeal upon receiving the final word that the necessary repairs would not be completed in time.
Your support and excitement has kept us motivated and determined. Therefore, the HNICon team remains steadfast in our resolve to still bring together a fun, unique experience for the black and POC diaspora. We have decided to partner with our home convention J1-Con and bring our amazing carnival theme to our shared community thru cosplay, parties, specialized panels and events! Get your tickets now for HNIC will be hosting the carnival-themed J1-Con prom and crowning the royals who show up best for our competitions and activities. As for HNICon, we look forward to seeing you in 2024.
